The liquid is dark brown (70 EBC), the liquid is clear. The three finger head is beige and airy; it sinks slowly leaving some lacing on the glass.
The smell is malty with some sweet chocolate, mild bitter-floral hops. Some sourness in the background.
The taste is malty, too. Caramel, milk chocolate, hints of plastic, some bitterness, dried fruits and some flowery bitterness. Low to medium body. The aftertaste got hints of alcohol, chocolate, prunes and growing bitterness.
The carbonation is quite strong and way too strong for the style. The mid-sized bubbles are short-lived. The liquid is light but not watery.
Not too bad, but a bit too much carbonation and hops for my taste.
