Pours into an imperial nonic a clear rich copper color with a slight infusion of orange,a thick full one finger white head atop.A mix of floral, pine resin and grapefruit in the nose along with caramel and mild nutty malts, kinda old school here.Wow not a juice bomb on the palate!Resiny and pine-like flavors with mild citric notes with earthy tones in the back end.Is it it 2008 all over again? With this beer it is and I like it,well done.

In a pint glass the beer was a copper color There was a thick off-white head with abundant lacing.
Mostly pine aroma. Some citrus. A little sweet malt.
Mostly pine taste. Some grapefruit A little caramel.
A good, hoppy IPA.

L: Brown, copper, but light. Head that quickly disipates. Left some lacing around the glass.

S: Some citrus notes, but quite piney.

T: Follows the aroma. Nice and balnced, but a solid bitter finish.

F: Moderate carbonation.

O: Not really and english ipa with the fair amount of pine presence. This was solid. I'll have this again if I pass through the area.

Comes in a hazy copper color topped by a sticky off white head. Excellent retention with lots of lacing.

On the nose, I get grapefruit, pine, brown bready malt, blueberry, orange peel, pineapple.

On the palate, big grapefruit and orange upfront, followed by mango, pineapple, blueberry, and pine. There's a big bready malt backbone, toasty but not too sweet. Finishes slightly sweet but well-balanced with drying hops; lightly bitter, not too bitter but with a lingering resinous stickiness, and more notes of pine.

Feels medium, well-carbonated, rich and oily and well-balanced.

A really nice easy-drinking IPA with both resinous and tropical hop character. Very well done.

Can to English pint glass.
The appearance was a soft semi-transparent bronzed light copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a mild pace. Nice semi-clingy spotty sort of lacing ran all around.
The aroma had a strength scent of bitter pine up front trying to run into some citrusy bitter rind but that seemed a bit fainter. Nice equivocal earthiness escapes into some mild breadiness shaping the all around nose.
The flavor embraced the piney bitterness pretty much all of the way through the entire consumption. Some citrusy sweet pulp to rind follows in underneath. Just a touch of the malts, somewhat clean and bready. Aftertaste hits with a nice sly crisp pine to citrusy zestiness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt on par. ABV felt appropriate.
Finish had a touch of stickiness with an absorbent maltiness bringing in the piney harshness.
Overall, it's a pretty nice AIPA that I could have again, definitely more pine than expected.

Poured from a 16oz bottle into a speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a dark amber with a thin dense head.

Aroma is a heavy caramel with herbal hops.

Taste is definitely more malt than hops, hops come second as an earthy herbal after note.

More like a hoppy English style old ale than a bright hoppy IPA.

On tap at Stoneyard Beer Hall and Grill in Webster, NY.

This one pours a nice slight hazy dark orange, with a small head, and a good amount of lacing.

They call this one an "Adirondack-style" IPA, whatever that means. Whatever it does actually mean, I like it- the aroma is nice. Orange peel, grapefruit rind, bready malt, and pine resin- it seems pretty classically West Coast style if I'm defining it.

The taste is pretty similar. There's a very nice bitterness on the finish, it's a bit herbal and peppery, and very piney- it's unique and I dig it. Up front there's some nice fruity hop flavors that never get too sweet.

This is light bodied, with a very crisp mouthfeel, and a good level of carbonation.

This is a cool little brewery that I need to visit soon.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellowish amber in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that died down, leaving a layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose—grapefruit and oranges seem to stand out in particular—along with some hints of pine.
T: The taste is a near mirror image to the smell and has faint hints of underlying caramel malts. The hops contribute a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer definitely has a nice "bite" to it in the mouthfeel. It has good drinkability.

Pours hazy yellow gold color with a 1-2 finger foamy white head that faded slowly and left very good spotty lacing.

Smells of orange peel, lemon zest, very faint grapefruit, floral notes, piney notes, biscuit, toasted grains and a malty sweetness that gives off hints of caramel. Well balanced.

Flavor has more grains and biscuit, cracker wheat, lemon zest, caramel, tea leaf, citrus fruit and light peppery spices. Like the nose, it’s well balanced and goes down easy.
