Very Good
Beaver Bite IPABeaver Bite IPA
Notes: Our Northeast style IPA. Hazy copper in color with just enough malt sweetness to balance the bold dry hop aroma. Expect big juicy aromatics balanced with a hint of pine character.

Pours into an imperial nonic a clear rich copper color with a slight infusion of orange,a thick full one finger white head atop.A mix of floral, pine resin and grapefruit in the nose along with caramel and mild nutty malts, kinda old school here.Wow not a juice bomb on the palate!Resiny and pine-like flavors with mild citric notes with earthy tones in the back end.Is it it 2008 all over again? With this beer it is and I like it,well done.

Mostly pine aroma. Some citrus. A little sweet malt.
Mostly pine taste. Some grapefruit A little caramel.
A good, hoppy IPA.

A: Poured from the can into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is slightly hazy orange with a 1-finger light ecru-colored head.

S: Nice nose of citrus and pine. An old-school IPA nose.

T: Modest caramel malt and brown sugar foundation, then the hops: earthy, leafy, and pine and pine needles predominantly, with a touch of grapefruit peel.

M: A little chalky. Medium in heft, carbonation is modest.

O: OK. It's semi-local, and the 4-pack was only $8.99, so a solid value. Probably won't come back to it myself, but I wouldn't turn one down if offered.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellowish amber in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that died down, leaving a layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose—grapefruit and oranges seem to stand out in particular—along with some hints of pine.
T: The taste is a near mirror image to the smell and has faint hints of underlying caramel malts. The hops contribute a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer definitely has a nice "bite" to it in the mouthfeel. It has good drinkability.

Pours a nice golden hue with a thin head into my glass. Subtle mango presence in the nose with a touch of pine. Starts out with citrus and progresses to a nice pine edge. Super fresh too (canned 12/22/17). Lingering pine resin at the back of the mouth. A very good IPA that offers the best of both hop worlds.

Pours hazy yellow gold color with a 1-2 finger foamy white head that faded slowly and left very good spotty lacing.

Smells of orange peel, lemon zest, very faint grapefruit, floral notes, piney notes, biscuit, toasted grains and a malty sweetness that gives off hints of caramel. Well balanced.

Flavor has more grains and biscuit, cracker wheat, lemon zest, caramel, tea leaf, citrus fruit and light peppery spices. Like the nose, it’s well balanced and goes down easy.

A-pours an orange copper with with an off white head with average retention and some lacing
S-orange,peach, pine, pear, pineapple, wheat, some biscuit
T-tons of resiny pine, some orange, dry biscuit in the finish, malt provides solid backbone without lending much flavor
M-medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation
O-flavor is a bit heavy on the pine, but not a bad brew. I'll check out some more of their offerings

Golden amber in color. Mostly clear liquid, short and flat foam cap. Unfortunately, the head dissipates away for good, leaving only a ring around the edges.

Amber sweet and honey bread malt aromatics hit my nose first. Then it's, fruit punch sweetness and pine cones for the hop side.

A nice and light crispy malt bite feels good. The malt is also slightly honey sweet but mostly filled with golden graininess. The hops come across as very earthy, dry and grainy once again. A very subtle, yet effective fruity and juicy hop complexity rides in. Very mellow, well balanced and easy overall.
At 6% abv, it's practically a session NEIPA, but it certainly has enough charecter to keep you interested.

I really enjoy the light fruity tones and crisp grainy malt balance. Juicy, piney and light feeling holds it all down.

Bitey. East coast or English IPA.
a) Body is mostly clear, lots of floating particulate, darker amber-orange with a 1-finger white3 head that lasts and laces well.
s) English or NE style IPA nose of malt base with citrus and pine lather.
t) Slightly prefer the taste with base of caramel malt lather in layers of hops: earthy, leafy, pine, forest floor, and citrus peel. Nice bitter marmalade finish.
f) Medium, chalky, mineral, big carbonation. English.
o) Neat and mid-pack east coast IPA.

Originally rated this 2.5 when the brewery first opened and it fell far short of what a professionally brewed IPA should be. Recent cab was solid and well crafted but rather workaday; it's your basic citrusy IPA without a ton of depth and not particularly interesting. Looks nice enough and is easy to drink, just a bit forgettable.
