Awesome aroma and flavor of citrus..pine..and even a touch of smoke.
Pretty Darned good. Mod bitterness. Not chalky at all. Rounded out nicely. I appreciate the citrus/pine notes of this brew.

L: Hazy straw color with a thin, white head.
S: Floral and tart citrus resonate in the aroma. The smell is definitely unique and intriguing.
T: Fairly juicy with a dryness on the backend. The funky "band-aid" taste seems to be gone, but there is something there that inhibits it's overall quality. It just seems like they haven't quite mastered the recipe, but I can't put my finger on what's off. It's still enjoyable enough though.
F: Decent carb, the malt balance allows for a palatable bitterness. No booziness detected, but at 6.5% that should go without saying.
O: I'd drink more, but I'd probably reach for a beer I haven't tried first. I was hoping this could be a plan b for when I couldn't find Sea Hag (my good, cheap go-to beer), but it's not quite that good. Will I buy it again? Probably. I think this brewery has potential if they work on their craft.

Father-in-Law brought some over the other day, finally getting around to trying it.
Look: My hopes weren't especially high for this beer, but I'll be damned if this isn't a beautiful brew. Underneath the fluffy, pure white head, the beer is light gold and slightly hazy. Substantial film follows the beer down the glass with good lacing.
Smell: There's a solid dose of sweet orange (the fruit, not the rind) with some tropical undertones. It's not an aromatic monster like some of the well-known IPA heavyweights, but what it does it's doing very well.
Taste: Very much follows the nose. It tastes like an orange creamsicle, with some pineapple on the finish. Was not expecting this. That being said, the beer finishes dry.
Feel: The creamsicle flavor gives the brief illusion of a full bodied beer, but it's definitely more on the lighter side of medium. Refreshing carbonation makes this okay.
Overall: Clearly the recipe has changed since the iodine comparisons. This is a great warm weather beer. If you see this at your local store, definitely give it a shot.

Light gold color, a bit hazy. Thick white head on top fades to a solid lacing. Lightly carbonated with a few bubbles racing to replace the lacing. Smell is a bit fruity, tropicial type. Taste is lite on the tongue, hint of malt with a hop finish. Nice beer, rather refreshing

Nice light, bright orange color. Aroma is fruity, mainly tropical fruits, slight herbal and grassy notes. Taste has a nice orange rind bitterness with mainly tropical fruits. Very drinkable.
