I get lots of smoke, tobacco, and tons of raisins. Not very roasty. Even a bit tangy. Head receded quickly, but nice burnt leaf nose. Light body, and much more carbonated than other local dark beers, probably a full 2+ volumes. It's on CO2, not Nitro.

The description at the bar claims loads of chocolate malt, which I guess is true.

I quite liked this beer. It's very unique, much different than the other nitro porters and stouts all around. Not sure where the tangyness comes from.

On tap at J W Sweetman, Dublin.

Chocolate ruby with creamy off white head.
Roasty, earthy, plus a bit of chocolate on the nose.
Maltesers, brown sugar, humus, carob, and blackberry, then wood chip hops.
Chocolate finish and tingly linger.
Lt-med, fizzy, some cling.

Nice and chocolatey but dies on the end. No roast, so definitely not a stout. But not really a "pint of plain", either, so though it goes down easy, not sure if this will make the tourists happy.
