Pours a dark orange-ish brown color. See-through albeit with some slight cloudiness. Thin tight off-white head dissipates slowly and not completely.

Aroma is extremely mild and almost non-existent. There is a slight orangey hint to the aroma, but its slight. Some light piney notes mingle with a mild malt backbone.

Taste is malty with some earthy nutty notes. Slight hoppy notes provide a touch of orange and pine. Slight bitterness on the finish.

Feel is light, sessionable, and smooth. Moderate yet lively carbonation.

Overall this is a self described "bastardized" ESB, but I have to give credit here - they incorporated American hops while keeping the general spirit of the ESB. Its quite nice, and given the dearth of domestic options for the style, this might be one of the better ones out there.

Form a 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid ESB pours a glowing deep amber with a
nice head of white foam that settles to a thin ring, subtle pool, and shows some
nice sudsy lacing. Nose of caramel malts, floral hops, and light pine malts.
Flavors follow the nose and present a finely balanced English ESB with floral
and subtle pine hops awash in caramel malts that are balanced but not cloying.
Perfect for the style this beer sports a medium light body, light carbonation
that is subtly lively, and a smooth and lightly sweet and moderately bitter
lightly dry finish.

Overall this is of fine ESB showing balance and ease of drinking

Cheers

Pours a hazy copper color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, tea, hint of roasted malt, spicy hops, slight alcohol, and a hint of floral hops. Fits the style of an Extra Special / Strong Bitter. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, tea, hint of roasted malt, spicy hops, slight alcohol, hint of piney hops, and a hint of floral hops. Overall, good appearance, aroma, body, and blend.

Orange-bronze moderately hazy body that forms an uncontrollable, absurdly large off-white fine head. Nose offers orange and grapefruit, quite juicy but with barbs of bitterness and not much else. The flavor becomes even less distinct, focusing mostly on woody pulp with a bit of orange pith. It doesn't offer much in the way of hop variety, nor anything to do with malt, especially for an ESB. Medium body weight but high carbonation that produces a lot of burps, not the good kind.
The nose was good, it's rare to find the essence of grapefruit that clearly, but the rest of the experience wandered aimlessly. This is a hard style to nail, especially when it's a nuance away from a few others, but this pretty drastically missed the mark.

This flavorless beer pours with a decent head and has a promising dark amber color. Smells quite bland with hints of absolutely nothing. It has a full-bodied feel but really without taste. At least it's better than a lager. I suppose it would be an okay beer at the end of the night when you don't care what you are drinking. If you like alcoholic water, this beer is for you!

Nice amber pour from a can. Has a faint, fruity aroma but is shockingly tasteless. It just tastes like foam and carbonation from a foamless pour... This beer could be a good palate cleanser I guess?

Poured from can into pint glass. Having had several ESBs in England, this is a valiant attempt that falls short. Copper color with two finger head (wait staff poured way to fast). Earthy malts and yeast; an almost sour smell to the nose. Slight bitters on the palate activated my the carbonation the falls away leaving a hint of bitterness that finishes dry. For me, just an okay brew.
