Poured from a crowler into an oversized tulip.

Copper color indicates a considerable malt presence. Lacing and head are fine.

Smells of tangy citrus, but lacks a hop pop and depth. This carries on to the taste, which is one-dimensional and takes its sweet time to make an entrance. The front of the tongue seems to get no flavor at all.

The feel approaches full-bodied but there's a spritzy carbonation here.

Not bad, but didn't wow me in anyway.

Pours a very hazy yellow gold, thick sticky head and glue like lacing. Canned on 8-31-17 this sucker is a day old. Smells wonderful, citrus, pine, hops. The taste is so good, full flavor IPA, loads of hops and balanced with smooth citrus, pine, and some dryness. A very refreshing IPA. This is a medium beer and great out in the sun, very enjoyable IPA.

Had a glass at the restaurant after a nice hike on one of the Superstition Mountain trails.

This was a very nice single IPA from reputably the best brewing team in the greater Phoenix area.

Definitely try this if you are a hop head. You will not be disappointed!

Complex big ipa with lots of carbonation. Grapefruit and orange hop flavours. On tap at the source. This will be their first can. Ordinary looks and mild aroma.

Appearance: Pours a clear amber with a full three fingers; impressive on both the retention and lacing aspects

Smell: Bursts with resinous grapefruit and pine tones

Taste: A touch of the biscuit in the backbone but by the mid-palate, the hops take over with an assault of pine, blossoming with undertones of grapefruit pith; the bitterness builds, after the swallow, though the malt is always there

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: This is one of those IPAs that I would have really enjoyed more a few years ago but my palate today looks more for the fruit and less for the bitterness; well done, but no longer checks my IPA box

Thanks, kevindp9, for the opportunity

The bubbly tan head clears out quickly leaving little behind but a dark, amber brew. A few skinny lines of lace work upward.

Unique, earthy and resinous notes reach out to the nose, followed by sweet notes of caramel and ripened fruit (thinking apricot and nectarine).

Tastes paradoxically smooth with the bitter and sweet melding nicely, but thankfully never losing its pungent nature. Plenty more fruit to go around on the palate, a bit musky, and some spice at the end. Medium bodied with a welcomed, warming alcohol heat.

Sure IPA's are dime a dozen these days, but when you sift through the wanna-be's and mediocre ones to find a treasure like this, it makes it all worthwhile, and you realize the adventure is half the fun.

On draft at AZ Wilderness.

Light copper body with a small off white collar. Aromas of tropical fruit and hop resin atop a supporting biscuit malt bill. Light and refreshing. Hop forward. Mango and oranges. Solid.
