This one is all over the place -- I've had halfway decent versions, yogurt tartness and all, and a few that have been diactyl-laden messes. Until the consistency picks up, I'd be hard pressed to recommend it.

Thanks to mrbubbler for sharing this one at Wowcoolman's tasting.

Pours a clear super light yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with wheat, grain, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour wheat and grain flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is basic but tasty and easy to drink.

Serving type: growler.

Hazy straw yellow. White head with lace.

Lemon acidity. Light vinegar. Tart and sour. Has a bit of a funk to it.

Light bodied and easy drinking. Very enjoyable.

berliners and other kettle soured or sour mashed ales have become like the new ipa, seemingly the standard which all breweries are being judged, and it apparently has become mandatory to be well versed in these styles. everyone is doing it now, and so few of them are any good, its awesome t encounter a beer like this, a true example of the style, better than most of them, but without anything to make it intentionally different except for the quality. i like that, and i like this brewery a lot. here is a clean, moderately sour, lemony, straw colored brew, brightly acidic, citric, summery, fun and easy drinking beer that has plenty of body for the style and is carbonated effervescently. its everything it should be and nothing it shouldnt. more body than many which really works to smooth out some of the acid, and i dont find it to have a negative impact on refreshment or drinkability. one of the better takes on this style i have seen in an increasingly crowded feel. they should can this one if they dont already...

On draft at AZ Wilderness.

Light straw body with a mild haze. Small white head. Aromas of grain, earth, mild funk, a touch of fruity. Grain with a touch of stone fruit and a slice of lemon. Subtle earthy and herbal notes as well. Thin bodied, almost watery. A good choice for a hot Arizona summer day.

Appearance: The cloudy honey colored liquid arrives with a small head that leaves a few strands of lace

Smell: Tart fruit and yeasty funk

Taste: Tart lemony tones are joined by yeasty funk

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; rather creamy

Overall: An excellent example of the style, showing the versatility of the brewer

Thanks, kevindp9, for the chance to revisit

Poured a nice clear golden yellow body with a thin white head. Quite nice looking, though a little plain. Scents of raspberry, a nice lactic sourness and a hint of wheat. Overall impression is of a mild, sour, nicely balanced and faintly fruity Berliner weisse. Flavor begins with notes of sour raspberries and lactic acid. Lactic acid becomes more prominent in the middle with a finish of sour lactic acid, sour raspberries and other berries and notes of crisp wheat. Aftertaste is slight lactic sourness, yogurt-like, and tangy, grainy wheat. Overall impression is of a sour, balanced, mildly fruity flavor that is quite refreshing. Mouthfeel is light bodied and effervescent, with high carbonation and a watery, tangy feel. Overall this is a good example of a Berliner Weisse, that has a nice simple, true to form aroma, and a nice refreshing flavor and mouthfeel. Quite nice and recommended.
