Notes: Formerly Dos Cabezas Double IPA

This batch is pretty awesome. Citra, Galaxy, Centennial, Columbus, Chinook, and Cascade whole cone all come together for hoppy 8.4% ABV bliss.

Had a glass at the restaurant after a nice hike on one of the Superstition Mountain trails.

This was a very nice double IPA from reputably the best brewing team in the greater Phoenix area.

Definitely try this if you are a hop head. You will not be disappointed!

My second beer from Arizona Wilderness, and this did not disappoint either. Clear gold, foamy white head, burst of citrus, pine and tropical fruits in aroma and flavor. More balanced than I was expecting for 115 ibu with a pleasantly and seemingly simple grain bill. Delicious and love the combination of hops used. Cheers!

Crowler thanks to Keith. Golden body, mild haze, capped with a small white head. Tropical citrus mild hop sin aroma, mirrored in taste. Hops come in at the back for a mild bitter finish. Juicy throughout.

I guess Arizona hasn't heard that DIPAs are supposed to be hazy because this is clear golden yellow with 2 fingers of head and thick lacing.
The nose is dank with some citrus and pine. The taste is more of the same. The citrus is orange rind and gets a little more butter as it warms. The pine remains in the background.
The mouthfeel is clean with very little alcohol present-is this really 8.2?
Overall this is very well made in the classic West coast style. So glad I got to try it.
