Enjoyed at the Copenhagen Beer Festival. Reviewed from notes.

A - Poured a nice dark brown almost black with a thin light head.

S - Aromas of nice coffee, little bit of roast, and some good pepper spice.

T- Taste is similar to the nose, just more subtle peppers. The coffee is decent, chocolate is a bit on the lighter side.

M - Mouthfeel is a bit lightly carbonated, body comes across as thin.

O - Overall this was an average stout. The pepper was a fun additive I just wish there was more to it.

L: pours a light black, film of head
S: black licorice...not a good start
T: liquid black licorice, with hints of peppers on the back end. Not for me.

On tap at CBC 2016. Dark brown with a thin head. Bourbon, chocolate, coconut and vanilla. Exellent.

Poured from a crowler into a tulip and it surprisingly kept it's carbonation despite the crowler having two months on it.

Aromas got some smoky chile complementing dark chocolate, brown sugar and vanilla.

Initially, I wasn't getting the chile notes or smoke that were on the nose, just a clean, delicious imperial stout with dark fruit, dark chocolate and vanilla. Peppery, spicy chile notes develop eventually as the beer warms and add a nice element.

Drinks cleanly, full, rich-bodied. Maybe a tad bitter for me but otherwise great.

I got down with this big time. Went back for a second pour.

Pours dark with minimal head. Smells of roasted malt and coco nibs. Taste is rich and delicious. Very smooth for 11%. Got the beer at the tap room and ended up ordering two without asking the price. Two 10oz pours cost me $20 which is fairly ridiculous, but I won't hold it against them for this review. It was an absolutely excellent Imperial Stout just next time I may stick to one.
