Pours a cloudy bright golden yellow color. Frothy white head dissipates slowly leaving a one finger layer of white foam with lots of sticky white lacing on the glass.

Smell has some floral and fruity notes light malt backbone comes through on the nose.

Taste is very fruity up front with some orange, lemon, and grassy hops. Nice cracker pilsner malt backbone.

Feel is lighter with a nice easy drinking character. Semi-dry finish. Medium carbonation.

On its own merits, this a nice good tasting beer. However, its a very Americanized take on the style and drinks more like a pale ale with the hop profile here - not really a Czech Pilsner.

12oz Can

Big ups to Wilson for a crazy big box of beer today! Tiny Bomb is a mildly hazy, pale golden beauty. The foam crackles as it rises to a proud two fingers in height and leaves chunky lacing as it retreats. Carbonation hustles up the glass in streams. My thirst is nearly quenched just looking at this pilsner.

As soon as the can cracks, the cereal grains hit the nose with pure cleanliness and a soft sweetness. Bready malts join the fray while the hop presence is certainly noticeable in the form of herbal spiciness, grassiness, and a squeeze of lemon for brightness. This is a fresh smelling pilsner and instantly makes me salivate.

As bright as the nose seems to be, the flavor is even more so. The hopping is bold for the style starting off with the aforementioned spice and grassiness before segueing into a bright lemon acidity on the finish. All that over the top of a deliciously refined, mildly sweet, graininess that's straight out of the sun.

The body shows a nice weight. It's moderate upfront, a little sweetness on the tip of the tongue, but the carbonation gets it moving until you're left with a lighter body, a bitter tongue and a dry throat. In my opinion, that's exactly how a pilsner should be. This beer is beyond drinkable. I could be a happy man with an endless supply of Tiny Bomb.

Wiseacre hit it out of the park with Tiny Bomb. In my opinion, this is what a pilsner should be. It's clean and grainy with a bright, yet bold, hoppiness that buzzsaws through the softly sweet grain with a dry finish that leaves you wanting more, now. Wow! Thanks a lot, Wil!

Pours a fluffy 1 finger white head with great retention. Beer is a clear goldenrod. Lacing is stringy and spotty with good stick. A really good looking beer.

Smells of a crisp, clean hop body with a biting, accented bitterness followed by a mellow, spritzy, lemony malt body. Nice.

Opens crisp and clean. Accented hop bitterness that tastes of citrus, wax, grass and pine. Aggressive but clean on the finish. Enjoyable.

Light bodied with ample carbonation. Smooth and quenching in the mouth and goes down sparkling and clean. Quick finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Very quaffable.

I'm not sure how much "complexity" people expect from this beer. This is very drinkable, refreshing and clean, which is exactly what you expect from the style. A nice offering.

On tap at Amerigo, Memphis.

A: A clear light gold with an off-white half finger head that dissipates fast.

S: Grainy, wheat-filled.

T: Grapefruity hops mixed with a grainy texture. Light, easy drinking, summery.

M: Light to medium with medium carbonation.

O: Not too impressed. Would've liked more carbonation. Still a good backyard beer.

A surprisingly refreshing and spicy pilsner. Almost like a light IPA.

Pours a palestraw producing 3 fingers of frothy, glowing white, moderately lasting head that that recedes to a thin cap of foam marked by clumpy islands & leaving heavy thick sheets of clumpy lacing on the sides of the glass. Aroma is biscuit, grass, white fruit, lemon, pilsner yeast. Taste is lemon, honey, grass, pear & a little cracker/biscuit. Finishes thin, lightly bitter & slightly dry but completely dries in the short-lived grassy, biscuit aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation, thin in the finish & dry in the aftertaste. Thanks to outdoor 7or24 for the opportunity!

One of the few micro pils available in my area - and it's a pretty good one to boot

Pours a pale yellow color with plenty of frothy head. good carbonation and lacing as well. The smell is definitely grass like. The taste is the same as well, grassy. Not the most flavorful brew either. Don't think I'll try another

Appearance: Light lemon yellow with bountiful white cap and classic lacing.

Aroma: Sweet malt forward with touches of bread yeast and light floral hops.

Taste: Malt forward quickly followed by floral, spicy hops. The hop influence builds to the finish and lingers in the aftertaste. Clean finish invites a repeat sip. Nicely balanced malt/hop flavors that work together rather than fighting each other for dominance.

Texture: Light medium.

Overall: The brewer calls this a Czech style Pislner and that works for me. Like many American Pilsners this one doesn't quite reach the sophistication of the Original Czech version. The elements are there but the final polish isn't as bright. Waffle House should serve this as a breakfast beer.

First off, I love beer in a can. I love to drink it from a can. So I did. Cant say much for the look as I didn't pour it. The smell was that of grains, cereal, bready, yeasty sell. Taste is awesome. Just what a pilsner should be. Carbonation is there to keep it refreshing and light, grainy bready taste then cut by just enough hops. I love this beer, I love that it is from TN, and I can get it in a six pack of cans. This was awesome to drink after and during mowing the yard. It was hot out and the Yeti kept these cold as ice on the tailgate. What better way to drink beer after some hard work. Cold, canned, on the tailgate of my truck in the South. America, and this beer. What a great country. Bravo Wiseacre. I'm going to push for this on tap at the bar.
