Received in NBS BIF from @jimmy_kneecaps.

Pours a jet black with little head that dissipates quickly.

Coffee, toasted grain, maybe a little chocolate on the nose.

Very coffee forward on the tongue. Roasty-ness takes a back seat. A little sweetness on the finish.

Rather thin compared to what I’d expected. Lower carbonation.

A nice milk stout with strong coffee flavour. Enjoyable.

The reviews below are pretty spot on. It smells like a coffee shop as soon as the can is opened. Pours a pitch black with medium head. The smell is just outstanding. I don't think that I have had a coffee stout or beer in general with this much coffee aroma. It tastes as good as it smells. A little sweeter because of the lactose. Thin body makes this an easy drinker as well. This may be my favorite coffee stout I have ever had. I was blown away!

This is hands down the best stout I've ever had. This beer has so much coffee aroma & flavor you'll think it's your morning coffee! A remarkably clean and bright finish with only a lingering sweetness.

This delivers exactly as advertised. Nose is like sticking your face in a freshly milled coffee bean bag. Taste is what you would think. A bit thin, but I'm really just looking for knocks. Not deserving of a sub 90 rating. Amazing coffee milk stout.

This is the most perfect coffee beer I have ever had. It's light, but tastes just like an iced coffee with cream and sugar. They seriously nailed this beer and I have never tasted a beer that tastes just like iced coffee. It's insane. Very drinkable at 5% and just perfect. It's all I want to drink.

Had this on tap at Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant on the square in Columbia, TN. A really good Coffee Stout that is black as night. Not as full-bodied as a regular stout and not as sweet as a milk stout. Went really good with a BBQ brisket sandwich. I would definitely drink this beer again.

It's a great beer for what it is. People have to remember it's a 6.2 abv cap for breweries in Tennessee unless you go through the hoops to get another license. This is an easy drinker that has great coffee and sweet tones throughout it. Yes, it is a bit thin for a stout, but it's a "session" style stout to meet Tennessee's laws. Plus, it's a great slammer for the stout heads that still drink stouts and porters in 100 degree heat.

Dark brownish black with an ample layer of creamy tan foam. Delicate drippy lacing all around the glass.

Huge roasty coffee aroma, rich and full bodied.
Taste is nice but not quite as bold. Dry and roasty.

Light bodied and drinkable. Nice coffee stout, could use a little more body but smells and tastes great.

on draft at the Flying Saucer in Memphis

damn this beer smells good - a ton of coffee aroma - and good flavor in the taste as well - not too roasty or dry.

It's a good beer don't get me wrong and it's easy to drink. However it is super thin for a stout and the flavor is light.

The beer pours a deep brown with a strong, tan head but not a lot of lacing.

The smell is tons of coffee with chocolate underneath. It's like a nice mocha. Very good smell.

The taste is more toward burned coffee and the chocolate doesn't come through as much, but it's still there. They're is a nice sweetness as expected from a milk stout.

The mouthfeel is a bit thin and highly carbonated

Overall this is decent. The coffee flavor is good, of a bit strong.

A thanks to the duke of drunkenness, the champion of cans, the incredible woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of black coffee, chocolate. Taste is coffee, smoke, chocolate, tasty. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.
