Enormous amount of Metropolis coffee straightens out the milk stout.

Coffee, dark brown, with two fingers of brown foamy carbonation. The smell is of spring time and autumn and coffee all at once. The tastes of sour coffee with a medium to light body and a little carbonation. I got this in Asheville North Carolina and I’m drinking in Phuket, Thailand, October 26, 2023.

12 oz. can, no apparent date. My first beer from Wiseacre Brewing Co., out of Memphis. "Coffee milk stout".
Poured to clear stemless wine snifter.
A: Pour is darker & more opaque than the 5.0% abv would lead one to imagine. Murky black coffee body, finger of creamy khaki tan head that leaves good looking frothy lacing. Adequate carbonation. Looks good.
S: Aromas of sweetened dark fruits; tons of raisin, dates, chocolate, a bit of a creamy milk sugariness is present. It smells ok; fairly average.
T: Taste is the same; more milky / creamy, with elements of dark fruit present. Coffee is there, but is more muddled / mixed in with flavors of vanilla, chocolate, cream. Doesn't have a fresh or roasty coffee flavor, and I'll admit, this is my last can of the 6 pack, and I recall enjoying the others more than this one..
F: Feel is smooth, milky, creamy, a bit more thin / light than I would like. Carbonation / drinkability is good.
Overall, a fairly run of the mill take on this style. Doesn't have the fresh roastiness I typically look for in this style, but this was a nice six pack, and I would definitely recommend it. Look forward to trying more from Wiseacre.

Excellent beer. Maybe one of the best I ever smelled (coffee) and that coffee definitely carries over in the taste. Will buy again

From a can. Pours an opaque black with an inch of brown head. Smells of coffee. Medium body and creamy feel. Tastes of coffee and lactose. Nice milk stout

Poured nearly black and had a brief 1 finger beige head.
The aroma was coffee and cocoa, some sweet notes that I couldn’t define.
The taste followed, but the lactose was almost as pronounced as the coffee. Not a bad thing in this case.
The feel was thinner than I prefer my stouts, especially with lactose involved. But quite quaffable.
I seem to get this every time I go to TN to visit the grandkids. Good, not excellent, but good.

A - Pours dark and opaque, minimal head, a few small bubbles survive on top. No lacing.
S - Big hit of coffee, a note of roasted malts, an oat-like grain element below.
T - Open is bright acidity and dark roast coffee, followed by a flush of chocolate and dark bread, and a soft finish with a bit of bitterness and lingering bready sweetness providing a solid point-counterpoint close.
M - Mild carbonation, decent weight, particularly for the low ABV, and a clean finish.
O - A nicely built coffee milk stout, with features that largely support each other, making a sum that is greater than the parts. I enjoyed this one.

(12 oz can, no date/code; purchased single off shelf at Total Wine, Denver... poured into a stemless wine glass, while bunking in a van in a brewery parking lot at 4a earlier today... review copied from notes taken on my phone)
(nose) Coffee all day, sweet roast, almost bbq caramelized... palate: almost tangy and sour; heavy roast and a touch of (black) licorice in the aftertaste... (feel) acidic tang and roasty heat along with a slightly greasy texture make(s) the palate rosy warm and mildly sticky... (overall) doesn't taste like a milk stout; too much egregious roast maybe a distraction; first review (done) in the dark by phone light, (also) first TN beer (review) somehow... maybe it's a favorite local(ly); this is good, but perhaps too bold and in need of getting used to
what I can add from memory: this poured with so much dark tan head that it had to be poured gradually, maybe 4-5 total top-ups... really, one of the roastiest, most roast-acidic beers I can remember ever trying; certainly worth another go (2030)
