Pours a hazy amber color with a tan head, nice toffee malt notes on the nose, there’s some fruity hop flavors on the taste to accompany the nice toffee malt flavor.
If you’re looking for a nice basic amber ale, this is a nice choice.

Red amber with thick creamy head. Sweetish aroma of roasted barley. Light but nice taste: a little bit toasty, a little nutty, a little malty. Lightly bittered with the smallest bit of papaya or other tropical fruit.

just a beer, drinkable and fine, but unremarkable and simple, nothing really too compelling about it, but its more flavorful than an adjunct lager and just as drinkable, so it has some value in the right context still i reckon. its light for a red, more of a light copper color rather than a brick red, which is rather indicative of the whole beer, which drinks light and easy and mild, even in a mild style. good clarity and froth on the pour, aroma of lightly toasted barley and a neat nutty and mineral profile, but the flavor is even more relaxed than the nose, a flash of baked sweetness followed by a drier generic amber beer maltiness, no yeast or hops here hardly at all, but its so light that its not unbalanced. traces of almonds and toffee, but its hard to find much nuance here. clean in the finish, which is nice in a red, and a very light body, summery for a malt driven brew, and something thats quite sessionable. its been awhile since ofallon has impressed me, and this one really doesnt, but it has its place i suppose...

On tap. Poured a clear, reddish color with golden highlights and a tan head of foam. It smelled of caramel and toffee. Sweet and malty with very little bitterness.

Amber hued with a fair amount of tiny sediment within the body. There's a fingernail of beige around the rim and covering most of the top. I smell lightly toasted grains and a faint amount of grassy hops. I'm tasting those lightly toasted grains and doughy malt. The mouth is light and easygoing.

This is an exceptionally good beer. This is a beer that I can drink regardless of the season. It isn't too much of anything that it isn't enjoyable on a hot summer day, but it is substantial enough that it would be good in the fall or winter when you might otherwise gravitate to "bigger" beers. It is very well balanced and very enjoyable.
O'Fallon have really stepped up their game in the last year and this is a prime example. Good stuff!

Pours a hazy amber color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and slight lacing. Smells of spicy hops, sweet malt, slight caramel malt, citrus hops, and a hint of grass. Fits the style of an American Amber / Red Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of spicy hops, sweet malt, slight caramel malt, citrus hops, and a hint of grass. Overall, average appearance, aroma, body, and blend.

A grandness that contains a deeper more interesting favor than most ambers with doesn’t linger but stretches pretty appropriately.
