Stopped in here on the way back from Skydive PA. Had been wanting to get here for a little while now.
The whole place is quite small and literally a table or two wide, depending on which part you're at. Bar takes up about half of the place, and has about 12 seats. Beyond that, I am guessing from memory, about 6 or 7 tables in the entire place.
I believe there were 5 beers on tap when I was there; of course I could deal with more than that, but that's a ticker for ya. They also had a cider from someone I can't recall. The beer was good. I definitely liked it. They had a single-hopped mosaic session ale that was quite good; nowhere near a single-hopped stinker that you see too often. Tried one other beyond that and picked up the Jungleboot IPA in a growler for later. (FYI - they do not fill outside growlers, and the growlers they had were the 32 ounce variety.) Sampler was 4 5 ounce portions for a price I can't recall.
Had a pizza and liked it too.
Overall, Shubrew is doing it right. I don't think I had low expectations - maybe I just had no expectations - and things were better than I figured they would be. I will return.

Shubrew is a great brew pub with some quality beers. It's an extremely small location and it can get crowded quickly depending on when you are there. But the service is very good. The food is also good.

Stopped in on a Sat. afternoon. Was our first time there. Not a big place but pretty cozy. Had food and brews at the bar. Enjoyed both. Got a outside growler filled to go. We will return again. Check it out.

Stopped with the wife, kids, and Aunt on way home from Carnegie Nat. History. Nice little place. Cue little. Crowded but full of really nice folks. Got a 4 beer sampler for $8. Mosaic APA was the stand out, but the others were solid. Nice Irish Red especially. Food was excellent (pork belly tacos), and everyone was happy with the grub and beers. Kids too. Would definitely go again. You can tell that they put care into the product, and don't worry about the fancy stuff. Solid joint.

This is a decent place to stop if you're in the area. I went on a Friday evening, and snagged the last spot at the bar. It was a locals kind of place, people were talking to each other at the bar. Friendly people and bartenders.
The beer was decent. I got the 4-beer taster plus a taster of the rotating beer (these were the only 5 beers on tap). I think their hoppy beers are better than their stout and brown. All were easy-drinking brews.
Pizza was OK.

Small relaxed brew pub. Home made food, owner and brew master tend bar, along with his wife. Excellent Pizza. Get there early as it is small but a nice place. They open at 5pm, so no lunch option. staff is friendly as well. Several rotating Drafts, plus 32 oz growlers to go.
