Galaxy hops from Myrtleford, Victoria in Australia and Mosaic hops from Yakima, Washington, USA, deliver aromas and flavours of tropical fruits, mango and citrus. Light malt body lets the hops shine through, and finishes crisp but not bitter. A hemispheric hop mashup.

An American IPA from Canada? Well, Canada is part of North America. There's a little stark white foam resultant of a pour to empty a pint can into a clear Imperial pint glass to address that question. This one has some of the unattractive qualities of the modern American "IPA". The stark white foam seems ever expanding, but when it finally decides to recede, it's acceptable. The color is brightly and very light amber and as translucent as some of the lowerly regarded adjucts. There's nothing inviting about the aroma. Maybe there's some piney or citrusy hops and little else. To taste, this isn't remarkable, coming from a decent craft brewery. There's little body, malt backing and complex hoppiness, the latter being the least of the complaints, The finish is mildly hoppy and clean. An acceptable try for a reasonable price., but don't let this ransack your wallet.

I encountered this on a shelf at Meijers, with a BB Feb 13 2023 stamped on the bottom. If it’s six or so months out the I’m drinking it fresh! Would that I were so lucky.
On to the beer. In the glass it pours with a slight hazed appearance to it. Generous foam, long lasting head retention. I like how it smells—touch of berry, blueberries mostly, and some grassy hay, mixed in with a little pineapple on the sip. Low bitterness. Not bad!

Appearance: Pours a clear, medium to light orange color with a ton of heavy visible sediment suspended in the glass. A mild head. SRM of 9. (3.75)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of tropical fruit, mango, ripe pineapple and hints of nectarine. (4.25)
Flavor: Moderate to stronger flavors of tropical mango and pineapple upfront. Then some tangerine in the middle as it turns into a resinous, slightly bitter pine on the finish. Mildly bitter, relatively dry. (4.00)
Feel: Medium to heavier bodied than expected, moderate carbonation. Can feel the sediment/pulp on the tongue as it drinks. (3.75)
Overall: A pretty good IPA here. Nice tropical and mango aromas. Matches that on the flavor, yet not quite as much. The only downside here is the large sediment flakes that I can feel on my tongue as this one drinks. Still quite nice (Rating: 4.02)

I tried this outstanding light golden IPA back in August when I was visiting friends in Philly. I just bought by first 4-pk. It's just a wonderful and smooth IPA with subtle notes of citrus. Very balanced between sweet flavor and a dry clean finish.
