Pours a hazy, golden yellow with thick, soft head.

Smell is juicy, with notes of nectarine, melon and pineapple.

Taste follows the nose to start, and adds a distinct grapefruity bitterness that is pretty robust.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a really nice IPA, which wasn't super fresh when I had it, but still very tasty.

A- bright but hazy yellow with a nice white ring of foam, good lacing
S-Sweet citrus fruit aroma, with a nice light malt undertone
M-Medium-light mouthfeel with good low end carbonation that does not distract from thr flavours
T-Sweet upfront and throughout with a bouquet of tropical fruit and citrus with just a hint of pine from what i believe to be centennial hops
O-What a great beer, hazy or not this brew hits many levels and is well balanced...maybe a little on the sweet side, but I like that.

Appearance - Pours a hazy apricot gold with two fingers of foamy white head. Slight bits of sediment can be seen floating throughout the glass.

Smell - Citrus hops, tangerine, orange, hint of grapefruit peel, tropical fruit (pineapple and mango), bready malts, hint of caramel, earthy yeast.

Taste - A lot of fruit action going on in this brew! Tangerine, orange, and tropical fruits are predominant. Solid bitterness level from the citrus hops. Malts and yeast are delicate in flavour.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes slightly sticky with a citrus hop flavour lingering in the aftertaste.

Overall - A flavourful New England style IPA that bursts with citrus flavour! A very sessionable beer that goes down easy. Another great IPA from the folks at Collective Arts.

473 ml can - pours a cloudy/chunky pale golden with good two fingers of sweet piney citrus smelling white head. Subsequent aroma more tropical citrus. Taste a sticky bitter sweet citrus, caramel malt, pineapple, mild piney with sweet orange peel coating mouth to finish. Very nice.

473ml can - let the haze craze continue unabated! Wouldn't want to mess with the redhead on wheels portrayed on the label!

This beer pours a cloudy, medium golden yellow colour, with three chubby fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly off-white head, which leaves a bit of awkwardly webbed lace around the glass as it slowly but surely sinks away.

It smells of grainy and crackery cereal malt, some dankness that is almost reminiscent of cat-pee, a damp minerality, muddled tropical citrus fruit, and more understated leafy, weedy, and piney green hop bitters. The taste is bready and crackery pale malt, white grapefruit and underripe orange citrus zest, some sort of Mary Jane-esque dank esters, a hard water flintiness, further indistinct exotic fruity notes, and more earthy, leafy, and piney verdant hoppiness.

The carbonation is fairly restrained in its palate-teasing frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, with a pleasant airy creaminess contending with some hoppy shenanigans at this juncture. It finishes off-dry, the stoic malt and mixed fruitiness co-lingering with vigor.

Overall - this is indeed a very well-rendered version of the sub-style, as the fruity character certainly brings its A-game, with an equally capable forest floor detritus edginess keeping things more or less in balance. Tasty, and easy to put back - great stuff!

Slightly cloudy and golden with virtually no carbonation, and topped with 3 fingers of yellow tinged head.

Smells fruity and of pineapple, pine, blueberries, unripe strawberries, and a hint of dankness and bad breath (in a catnip sort of way).

Big pine and pineapple, dankness, grapefruit pith, blueberries and strawberries. Fried onions as well.

Medium body, little carbonation, light sweetness with a slight tannic finish.

Another excellent brew from this company. Got this one in Agawam, Massachusetts, drinking in Muskoka, Ontario, Jan 6th, 2018. Still fresh, and very hoppy, in spite of its long voyage.

Dated 11/9/17.

Pours a murky tangerine color. Notes of Grapefruit, tangerine, orange and other tropical fruits. Slight pine backbone. Taste follows suit. Probably Collective Arts best offering.

AFAIK this beer in it's current name was just a test. They have released "Life In the Clouds" which seems to be a refined version of this beer, added to Collective's regular lineup.

Now called "Life In The Clouds Hazy IPA" with a new look darker blue can, this pours a lightly cloudy straw colour with medium fluffy white head which fades rather quickly & leaves significant lacing. Aroma bursts from the can upon opening with hoppy citrus & tropical aromas. Taste follows with sweet juicy citrus (grapefruit & lime) & tropical flavours including some melon. It's not quite as juice-like as Smooth Maneuvers, but it is perhaps the 2nd most juice-like IPA I've had from CA, reminding me somewhat of Bellwoods & Treehouse offerings. Mouthfeel is moderately smooth & full with just a little sour grapefuit & sweet bitter ending to each sip. Having had in the the previous form, Hazy, & knowing it was coming out again, I bought a dozen tonight, so yeah, I like it!

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a hazy golden body with nice, sticky lacing. Head dissipates after a while but comes back nicely with a swirl or two. Nose of pine, tropical fruit, and as it warms a bit, the fruit comes to the forefront. Taste mirrors nose with a fairly dry and somewhat crisp finish. Nice feel with none of that gritty NEIPA shit going on between your tongue and roof of mouth. A very pleasant experience all around and another fine job from our friends to the north.

Light fizzy head, little lacing, hazy apricot orange

Nose big creamy wheat malt, pith, pulp, citrus, little pineapple, tropical, mild green oniony, tangerine, mango sherbet, fresh juice

Taste more green pine onion up front, but then big citrus tropical, pineapple, mango, orange cream, big juice, grapefruit and pith, creamy wheat malt.

Mouth is med bod, creamy juicy soft, fluffy carb

Overall very nice other than oniony mosaic

Moderate head settles to rim bubbles quickly. Some minor spots and slippery lace. The liquid is light amber and cloudy.

Unusual smell of vegetables with some prickly pine. My daughter picked up on apricot and honey but I couldn't smell it.

This fits into the New England category of IPAs. Lots of grapefruit hop flavor throughout the tasting. Decent body with an elevated carbonation level. Light malt start that dies nearly instantaneously. Long aftertaste, naturally.

New brew from this well-thought-of Canadian producer. I've only had one of their beers before now. Fun can art of tattooed female bike rider in full dowhhill tilt.

Poured from the 16 oz. can into a Tree House stemmed tulip.

a; Cloudy orange with an inch thick white head which receded to fairly even thin surface foam and dense lacing.

s; Pretty strong citrus/pine resin.

t; Follows the nose with immediate moderate to heavy hop bite and light grape notes over a biscuit malt base. Dry to bitter finish,

m; Medium plus, very good body and carbonation tingle.

o; A really good NE style session IPA (6.1% ABV), tasty and satisfying. Higher end cost ($14/4 pints) would be the only thing possibly holding it back from becoming a regular in my rotation.
