Can: Poured a clear pale yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with limited retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry hops notes with light residual sugar notes and cereal notes are pleasant. Taste is a god mix of dry hoppy notes with some dry malt notes and light cereal. Body is light with good carbonation. Nice use of lesser known hops for a highly drinkable golden ale.

A- beer pours a transparent light golden yellow with a thin white head ring that quickly dissipated
S- aroma is spicy, with lemon notes and even a hint of citronella
M- The body is quite light on this beer, carbonation is high
T- dry crisp flavour with a smooth bitterness that leans heavily on lemon rind and subtle grapefruit
O-more flavourful that your standard, easy summer drinking brew

This was part of a drop-off/pick-up by/from my local, in-person trader, @tone77 who knows my affinity for CANned CANadian beers to further The CANQuest (tm).

From the CAN: "Hops: Centennial and German Magnum"; "Art: Nicolae Negura, Lisbon, Portugal".

It amazes me that I have a number of Collective Arts Brewing beers in my backlog & yet, this is not one of them! I felt honored to Crack! the vent on my inaugural CAN & begin a slow, gentle C-Line Glug. I watched in rapt fascination as it foamed up to form two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with excellent retention. Color was an oh-so-slightly hazy Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4). Nose had a slightly grassy biscuity maltiness. Another Pilsner-like Ale? Okay by me! Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not watery, but I generally expect greater body in/from Ales. The taste was very mellow, only lightly malty with a slight melon & citrus fruitiness. This was eminently drinkable & could make a great addition to the beach-bound cooler. Finish was semi-dry with not a lot of sweetness in evidence. This was quite unexpected & quite good. YMMV.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a bright golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of grains, some bread. Taste is of grains, malts, some lemons, mild and refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall it's pretty mild but it's a decent beer.

This is my fault. I thought I was reaching for a Life in the Clouds, but I grabbed this by accident.
I had no interest in ever trying this and while it's not as bad as some of the mass produced garbage out there, I really don't see the value of this beer. The slight bitter malty taste is not much and it's not worth the time.
A forgettable offering.

16 oz cans

Fairly clear light golden color, bone white head. Decent head retention. Aroma is slightly sweet, grainy, a little fruity - berry, white grape. Similar flavor, a touch sweet, no real hop bitterness. Thin to medium bodied.

Light gold with a one finger head that immediately disappears, no lacing.
Sour apple a floral smell that just isn't my favorite combo.
Crisp with mild hops, a bit of apple again that gives it a cider feel.
Dry with a lingering sour aftertaste.
Not my favorite offering from CA, but it goes away from my personal preferences.

Reminds me of a stern Britsh pub ale, particularly drunk warm. Definitely, a good lunch beer particularly if the lunch is a ploughman's. I think this makes a nice change from sweet craft beer.

Probably one of the most ordinary brews put together by CA. Well made and a decent enough imbibe, but not too memorable. Pretty light and unassuming although the hops carry a bit of a bite.

Tasted in a Rastal Craft Master glass from a one pint can on July 20, 2018. Brewed exclusively with German Magnum and Centennial hops. Crisp, refreshing and well balanced.

This is a pretty solid blonde. All the good lager like quality with more body, malt and not as crisp. Prettyuch want you would expect and very approachable, especially after some yard work.

1 Pint Ale, colorful blue-labeled 16 ounce can in to a tulip glass.

Pale yellow-gold color, clouded, quick dropping 1-finger white cap, minimal lacing. Despite the cloudiness, there's a trace of champagne-like look in there, too.

There's a trace of white wine in the aroma, too. Floral, spicy, and fruity. Grass and lemon. Oyster crackers.

Very grassy. Dry and clean pale malt. The fruit, floral, and spicy hops flavor the mix. The lemon stands out.

Light body, clean feel. Dry; again, white wine like, driven by the hop mix.

I bought this single earlier this month while in VT, having no idea what it is. I'm drinking it as a Friday afternoon relaxer and it does not fit that bill. I can imagine that it would nicely accompany a paired meal - such as a white fish or spiced meal. oh, well, next time...

Had poured from 473 ml. can, no canned on or other date, into nonic pint. Collective Arts is rather tight-lipped about what their intent is, but Lunch Money is more a Continental than an American ale.

A- This pours, I hate to say, the way piss looks the morning after a bender....9/10 on the whiz factor! A frothy super white head coats the top of the liquid and retains rather well, settling into a thick foamy layer over this chill hazed, quite neon yellow colored brew! The carbonation appears quite aggressive, with many columns rapidly rising in fast fashion and the lacing is nice and sticky, with good chunky foam clinging to the inside of my glass! Overall not a bad looking brew outside of the color IMO.....really liking the artwork on the can!

S- Muted grassy/grainy aromas dominate the nostrils, with mild citrus rind, flaked barley malts....perhaps some cleansing rice/corn and really not a whole lot I detect a bit of a soapy aroma? hits my nose and I feel like I have to sneeze. Hop presence is muted too with just a hint of dryness to finish things off.

T- This is very clean overall, and the hop presence reveals itself much more diligently! Plenty of grassy notes, dry barley kernels, leafy floral flavors, and a finish that is clean and unassuming but definitely could use more oomph if you know what I mean.

M/O- Light bodied and fairly heavy with the carbonation, this makes a nice summer thirst quencher but doesn't really do the overall.....I think it could use a little more malt profile, however, in hot weather, I would have no problems downing this can quickly! I would probably pass on buying again....try for yourself.

Pours hazy pale yellow with a flash in the pan head. Grainy pale malts, dough and some herbal and lemony hops in the nose. Malty with lemon meringue pie and some corn and wet paper notes in the back. Subdued hop flavor and bitterness. Lightbodied with medium carbonation. Pretty sweet with very low bitterness in the finish.

A decent kolsch(?), but too sweet and a bit lacking in depth. I wouldn't seek it out again.
