Life in the Clouds is our flagship New England style IPA. After experimenting with the Collective Seasonal HAZY IPA we dialed in the Simcoe and Mosaic hops and malt balance to optimize this juicy IPA’s pleasantly fruit forward (think citrus and melon) taste and aroma. In keeping with the nouveau NEIPA tradition, Life in the Clouds is an unfiltered beer, neither overly-sweet nor bitter, with a pillowy mouth feel.

Excellent light bodied IPA. As a DIPA drinker, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor.

Probably the most easy drinking NEIPA I’ve tasted.

On tap, 10 ounce pour.
Fuzzy lemon juice look. White cap and lacing lines. Unattractive.
Very light, barely there, citrus and melon along with berry aromas.
Light citrus that I can’t identify. I’m lost.
Watery mouthfeel. Hops are lost and there’s a light wheat base feeling.

Full of flavour but not overly bitter. Still more bitter than my liking. I am not a fan of the bottle art. Too warry - i.e war-like. But just the amount of hops I can tolerate at most. But wouldn’t rush to the soda hop to
imbibe.

Hazy straw colour with large even head. Tropical hop nose featuring pineapple and citrus. Medium malt body, fruity, juicy ending on a crisp note. Very nice.

From the artsy can, it pours a hazy light amber color with a very nice white head that slowly diminishes. Some lacing. The nose gets citrus over malt. The mouth gets a very smooth brew that flows over the tongue and teases it with notes of citrus and other tropical fruits.
