Very Good
Hazy StateHazy State
Notes: This hugely flavourful, yet still extremely sessionable Double Dry-Hopped IPA made with 16 grams per litre of Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic and Centennial hops. Citrus and Tropical fruit notes dominate, but is also balanced with a smooth body that makes this one super easy drinking IPA.

A-Appearance is a pink bright yellow, with a very thin ominous white head later
S-Aroma has a biscuit, fruit, honey, citrus, Saint tropical medley
M-Mouth feels light and carbonation is higher than I would like it to be and as a peppery spirit on the tongue
T-Very little sweetness with the dry effervescent very little sweetness dry effervescent lead, That moves into a sharper bitter citrus rind aftertaste
O-Low ABV hazy attempt that falls a little short in my opinion on mouthfeel and balance

Poured from a 473ml can. Canned on April 24/2019
They did a good job on this on, a crazy wonderful nose and great tasting for a DDH.
For a low ABV Hazy they hit the nail on the head.

Pours a hazy, milky, yellow-orange with a loose, half inch, off-white head that quickly disperses into a soapy band around the edges and across the surface. Nose reveals notes of citrus, pith and biscuit malts. Taste follows nose. Not a juice bomb but fairly flavorful for a session IPA. Mouthfeel is light in body with a pleasant, even carbonation and a kiss of acidity. Overall, pretty drinkable for the abv. I find most session IPAs pretty dull and flavorless; however, this has a nice character to it.

Light yellow color. Thick, hazy appearance. Beautiful aroma but I find the taste a little sour.

Canned 7-15-19. Pours hazy golden. Light foamy head, very light lacing. Smells of tropical, grapefruit, pine up front. Floral arrives later. Taste is a tad muddled.. pine, slick, tropical. MF is mildly bitter, fair amount of bitterness.. and well done.

The only real low point was the taste...still, for a 4.1% I enjoyed this beer. Yea, it's not loaded up like the big boys, but it is well done for a session.

Pours milky straw with a small, crackly, cask like head. The nose is full of peach, mango, tropical fruit hops - dank and enveloping. A big smack of peachy, orangey hops with herbal notes and white pepper bitterness in the taste. Medium to light bodied with creamy, light carbonation and plenty of hop cotton mouth. High bitterness and tropical fruit in the everlasting finish.

This is incredibly full bodied and flavor for it's strength. Dense waves of fresh juicy hops and plenty of bitterness throughout. Never watery. I highly recommend.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/30/2019. Pours very hazy medium golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly foamy and fluffy white head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.1%. Overall this is an exceollent session NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Great soft feel, very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic and Centennial profile. Very vibrant, dank, earthy, and fairly juicy hops; with a nice wheat/oat/malt backbone for the ABV. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressively well made style example.

16 oz can poured into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass.

Appearance
Hazed-out, cloudy pale blonde. Short white head.

Nose
Papaya, lemon, orange, and dank.

Taste
Fruity Pebbles, papaya, lemonade, and orange zest. Light dank and pine. Slight caramel cream and oats maltiness.

Mouthfeel
Light bodied, smooth, and crisp with only a hint of bitterness.

Overall
It's way too subtle. Not packing the flavor punch that a DDH should.

These scores reflect what it is, rather than it's overall quality and flavour as per my beer preferences, which are the more full taste in an IPA the better. This is a definitely a session IPA with its 4.7% ABV, and as such does not pack the punch of a typical DDH IPA. But it has perhaps as much quality flavour as any session IPA I've had. I remember one session from Maine Brewing Co that was perhaps more full of flavour, but this one is more juicy fruit forward. Citrus (sharp orange, grapefruit), melon, etc. Very nice on tap at the brewery; lets see if I like it as much from the can at a later date.

Poured from a 16oz can dated 5/9/19 to a Nonic. Fridge temp pour, but warmed fast in the weather of the session.
Thin white head sits on a hazy pale orange body. Dead is gone completely in 5 minute.
Nose is mild orange with a touch of malt.
Taste is also mild orange.
Not a great beer, but it is only 4.1%. Probably hard to pack much in there with that ABV.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Very greenish and opaque kind of dark straw body color, with a three finger head that has minimal retention. Lots of very thin bath foam like head, with an oily lace and big bubbles as it settles.

Good solid hop aroma. Hints of herbs and dank earthy quality, with a touch of juiced tropical in the back. Quit a diverse profile in this one, with a touch of sweetness in malt seeming to be hiding and accenting some of the more fruit like flavors as well.

Palate manages some strange unexpected surprises. There is a hint of wet body here, which unfortunately takes everything down in enjoyment. Light bodied with a sense of washed out tropical fruit, and a slightly chalky finish. Very odd bitterness that's not astringent, but sort of medically front palate numbing. Hints minimal earth as well.

An easy drinking IPA, but it's lack of body brings man of the flavors to almost dumbed down and muted. The nose makes me anticipate a much better beer than the palate seems unwilling to deliver. Still drinkable though easily.

Poured a cloudy, yellow-orange body with soapy, one-finger head that slowly dies. Smell is floral hops with a very soapy, citric aroma that resembles dish soap to an extent. Thin, light, smooth, has a grainy, dirty feel to it with nominal bitterness and at times is earthy and dry, although clean finish. Not a bad beer but a little underwhelming to me.
