Single canned on Sept 19/19.
Hazy uniform pale yellow golden with 2 fingers creamy turning foamy white head that gradually declines to 1/2 finger bubbly foam with creamy cap.
Aroma of mango, tropical fruit, ripe orange with some piney hops on a sweet malt base.
Initial sip sweet tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, melon, touch of red grapefruit - at swallow gives a hoppy bitterness of grapefruit rind.
Carbonation appropriately moderate on medium full mouthfeel (may have guessed 7+% on ABV) - sweetness hangs fighting off a nice lingering bitterness.
Very tasty indeed - best in series in a while.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Sept 13 2019 and served slightly chilled.

Pours a hazy goldenrod colour, producing one finger of soapy, foamy white head that lasts for several minutes. It steadily recedes, painting a messy band of lace against the glass before being reduced to a frothy collar and some filmy patches upon the surface. I'm getting orange, grapefruit and stone fruit on the nose, in addition to hints of mango, papaya and herbal, grassy hops. Good stuff so far.

Very juicy, with flavours of mandarin orange, grapefruit and nectarine leading the way, backed by a grainy, wheaty pale malt backbone as well as some lactose sweetness. Hints of papaya, pineapple and melon give way to grassy hay and an earthy, herbal bitterness at the finish; this aspect doesn't last into the aftertaste, however, which consists of reverberating echoes of milk sugar, citrus rind and tropical fruit. Medium in body, with mild carbonation and a silky smooth, satisfying texture that seems apropos for a milkshake (or in this case, 'lactose') IPA. I'd be up for a second round - the abv is pretty low, and unlike some IPAs the flavours aren't particularly palate exhausting.

Final Grade: 4.27, an A-. Collective Arts' IPA No. 11 is the latest fine beer in this long running series, and certainly one of their top four or five numbered IPAs IMO. Its hop flavours are intense, while its lactose helps to rein things in a bit, balancing the flavour profile out and helping to make this into a highly drinkable hoppy pale ale. If you haven't already grabbed a few of these, be sure to do so as soon as possible - it's not getting any younger, and I wouldn't count on another batch being released any time soon.

16 oz. can.
Canned 09/18/19.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch slightly off white head over a hazy to cloudy, light golden body with very nice, sticky lacing. Subdued nose of tropical fruit, citrus and slight grassy hay. Taste is where this one shines: with tropical fruit, sweet citrus, and candied fruit finishing with an ever so slightly citrus pith bitterness. Very nice feel and overall, this is a great representation of how to use lactose in an IPA as it is a thoroughly enjoyable taste experience. Cheers to our pals at Collective Arts!

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/17/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, biscuit, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, biscuit, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, biscuit, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.8%. Overall this is an awesome milkshake IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; awesome soft/silky feel for the ABV. Awesome Mosaic, Idaho 7 profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced lactose and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example as expected.

A-Golden yellow with a decent amount of haze (I had a three month old can, so sediment may have settled). Thick pillowy white head that remains quite stable
S-Wonderful sweet tropical fruit medley pointing in the citrus direction
M-Medium body with a good element of juiciness. Carbonation is medium to low end.
T-Solid flavours of citrus fruit, tangerine, orange and subtle lemon. Smooth bitterness of citrus rind that is balanced by the sweetness from the lactose
O-Very nice NEIPA that creates a nice equilibrium of bitter and sweet.

Pours hazy gold with a frothy, long lasting head. Citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple in the nose. Giant hoppiness with a lactose sweetness in the first sip. The balance is perfect - not too sweet at all. More citrus, pineapple and lemon drop candy hops in there too. The mouthfeel is full bodied and creamy. Medium to high bitterness in the long hoppy finish.

This is a really good IPA. The lactose compliments Collective Arts typical IPA hop onslaught very well. Worth a try even if you aren't a big hophead.
