A - Hazy, muddy looking brown color with micro-thin lacing.

S - Cardamon is very noticeable on the nose along with chocolate and cream. Very interesting and distinct overall aroma but never overbearing.

T - Cardamon, chocolate, and cream from start to finish. No more and no less.

M - Thick, viscous, and leaves a sticky coating on the lips.

O - This is a fantastic stout that's packed with over the top flavor and a creepy clown label. Recommended (unless clowns creep you out).

Poured a cloudy, dark-brown body with one-finger khaki head that died quick and left lace patches. Vanilla, nuttiness, hint of banana and touch of cream/lactic quality as well in aroma. Medium body, slightly sticky, creamy, nutty, with a nutty dryness on finish after you get some vanilla, possible banana, smidge of chocolate sweetness along with a touch of heat.

L-Rich brown with blackish notes...chocolate/tan head.

S-Very intriguing. Banana liqueur...a bit of eucalyptus....milk chocolate...

T-The banana notes blend nicely with the milk chocolate...different banana than you'd get from some hefes. This is more of a mashed banana pudding. Some fennel...just a touch of vanilla. Not picking up the pistachios at all.

F-Creamy and smooth and big, yet not immense.

O-This is interesting for sure. I like the banana/chocolate pudding notes but the eucalyptus and fennel notes distract a little. Guessing that is from the cardamon. I could live without that ingredient personally but overall this was a nice changeup and a kickass can too. The more I drink this the more the banana/chocolate takes over and the other notes I didn't like so much fade into the background.

Poured moderately hard from a tall can into a snifter glass. Light hazy brown while pouring that resulted in a finger or two of light brown head. Dark hazy brown color with some lacing after the head faded. Smell is definitely banana-like, with a bit of marshmallow and chocolate; pleasant and not excessively sweet. Taste follows the smell, with banana as the primary with some chocolate and something else. Thankfully not too sweet of a taste either. Medium bodied with a little bit of carbonation. Very interesting dessert stout, and a must have if you like banana.

Too big for a normal milk/sweet stout, so I poured this into a snifter.
The appearance was a semi-ruddy dark brown close to black color with a small yellowish to almost eggshell white foamy head. Some concave lace.
The aroma had the banana to creamy sweetness up front. Some vanilla to pistachio nutty sweetness secondary. Milk chocolate and sweet coffee whiffs. Super mellow cardamom notes.
The flavor definitely leaned into the sweetness. Earthy cardamom tried to push it into a super subtle spicy tone, ultimately, it doesn't.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under. Good carbonation. Subtle stickiness. Finishes with some sticky banana to milk chocolate and a little bit of earthiness.
Overall, kinda odd for the style with the cardamom which makes it somewhat earthy and dry. Pistachios are so low key but it's one I'd come back to.

Surprisingly light colored and clear, much more of a dark, nutty brown than black. Decent head production and OK retention. Quite a bit of sediment (possibly spice) at the bottom.

Wonderful nose, similar to a chocolatey cream soda. Chocolate, cream, banana, cola, nuts, vanilla.

Sweet, nutty, and thickly flavorful on the palate. Cola, prune, chocolate, cardamom, banana, cream - really, the can doesn't lie, in this case. An absolute ton of flavors, but they come together in a very harmonious whole. A touch drily spicy, which is perhaps the only detractor, with cardamom lingering with a cinnamon/nutmeg-like flavor, and hints of licorice.

Smooth and creamy; easy drinking.

Pours a dark brown. A finger of khaki head. Lingers for a good amount of time.

Nose is very different. Wow. Banana, chocolate, and amaretto dominate. Fragrant, sweet and a touch perfume-y. A mix of nice scents. Smells like Disaronno and hot fudge drizzled on banana.

Taste is pungent upfront. Powerful, and fragrant. It follows similarly. Banana, chocolate, and almond/pistachio. It was more of an amaretto presence on the nose but I can get the pistachio now on the taste. There is this perfume-y bittering quality in the taste that I quite can't figure out. Very dessert like stout. Not much malt anywhere in the fold.

Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with mild carbonation.

Overall this is quite the distinct brew. One of those that has me feeling like it goes beyond that convention. Makes me feel like I'm not quite drinking a beer. As I've said many times, that may be a turn off for some, but for me, I don't quite hold that sentiment. It's very different. Very dessert like. But despite that it does it well. An enjoyable novelty brew for people who want something that's more "out there".

Canned 2/13/20
Pours a very large 2+ finger foamy dense tan head with great retention and fair lacing, very dark molasses brown color almost black with a touch of light coming through

Nose very sweet candy chocolate like, chocolate eclair, milk chocolate with rich eclair cream filling, vanilla cake batter with sweet candied bananas, a bit of pistachio ice cream and mint as well interestingly, some spices I do get a bit of cardamom but hard to get cinnamon, lots of the pistachio and mint ice cream, pastry

Taste brings all of the same again, lots of banana cream out front, candied bananas foster but not too sweet, some brown sugar candy like, more milk chocolate and white chocolate, into vanilla cake batter as well, again that eclair flavor interestingly, mild pistachio ice cream but not really mint like, well actually maybe some mint ice cream late, again the sweet pastry like with some roasted stout characters, a little bitterness from the roast and some spicy bitter hops, light cinnamon, very light, but plenty of cardamom, and more vanilla ice cream, and some artificial vanilla like

Mouth is fuller bod, rich creamy, med carb, just a touch of alcohol

Overall interesting and some nice flavors, but not something I could drink much of, so many sweet candy flavors, ice cream, etc.

Pours brown with a 1/4 inch tan head. Heavy lacing to the end.

Aroma of chocolate and vanilla immediately after opening. Also molasses, coffee.

Taste follows nose: chocolate, vanilla, molasses, coffee. Sweet for a beer.

Full bodied, light carbonation. Sweet finish.

One of the strangest tasting beers I've ever had but it's pretty good!
