A - Cedar red. Thin low wispy head. Lots of lacing. 4
S - bready sponge cake. Wheat. Malt. 4
T - sweet citrus notes malty sweet tastey 4.5.
M - smooth creamy great just great. 4
D - high drink-ability I guess it looses point for not being a very good ESB, but just as a tastey beer, it's fantastic.

On tap at the Beast & Barrel in TN.
Clear copper body with a creamy and durable tan head and excellent lacing.
Hop dominated aroma with earthy and herbal notes but lots of malt too.
Flavor less malt in the mouth and still hop dominated, particularly in the aftertaste. Moderate bitterness.

Tennessee Brew Works "Extra Easy"
on tap @ The Hop Stop, Nashville, TN on 8 April 2015
Notes: Clear deep amber body beneath a white head that holds quite well and leaves remarkable lacing about the glass (++++). Light buttery diactyl in the nose - most people probably wouldn't even notice it, but it's still a point of controversy; personally I like it as it's not too much, just an edge that gives it some character; and it may even be characteristic of the yeast they're using. Flavor brings in caramel, toffee... pear, peach, apricot, apple and some dark fruit skins as well. Leafy and grassy hops. Dry, minerals, and lightly bitter finish. Overall, really quite English in nature. Quite pleasant, and well worth seeking out - of all of the beers I've sampled from Tennessee craft breweries, this one is clearly my favorite basic ale (i.e. not a Belgian-style IPA, Imperial out, etc.).

Pours a hazy, brown color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong yeast, smoke, slight pale malt, sweet malt, alcohol, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of an Extra Special / Strong Bitter. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of smoke, sweet malt, yeast, hint of hop, and alcohol. Overall, decent appearance, good aroma, body, and feel.

Poured into a snifter. A very hazy copper-ruby color. There was a generous light-tan head that stayed for a while, leaving nice tracks. Aromas of Dark bread, floral hops, and cherries. The taste followed suit and was malt-forward, with a nice bready flavor. Moderately bitter with floral and some citrus notes. Medium-bodied with a clean finish.
