12 oz bottle from Siglers in Tennessee.
Herbal and slightly dank aroma with a better flavor. Good malt-hop balance. Bold for style. Smooth, medium body.

Ale poured a golden yellow with a decent one inch head, some lacing down glass. Aroma was almost grassy with a little citrus in there too. Taste was crisp malt flavor with mildly bitter finish. Very refreshing, almost pilsner-like feel to it. Great for warm weather or outdoor activities. Reminds me very much of the Hoptober that New Belgium used to brew in the fall. At 4.8%, it fits well in the session category.

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had faint honey. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with hop finish. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Loved this beer and it is giving back to State Parks in TN! I typically drink IPA's and I can not get enough of this one!!

On tap at brewery:
Sits with at least a chill haze, but is a solid golden color and pretty clear (by the end, volume and warmth proved it quite clear). Head is linen-day white, a mix of foam and bubbles, and a thick collar. Lacing is pretty solid.

Nose is a dry versions of multiple farm products: grass, hay, grain. There’s a light metallic aspect and some melon to lightly floral notes sneaking in as well. Warmth brings a little orchard fruit sweetness.

Carbonation peppers my palate lightly, with the overall impression being a mostly clean, dry feel. Flavors open with mostly expected notes that the nose foretold. There’s an apple-leaning sweet accent to a clean hay and grass and somewhat earthy opening. Carbonation and a light white pepper bite wash this away, and linger to lightly numb my tongue after a few sips in a row.

Nothing outrageous, thankfully. Nothing too different - neutral. Maybe a tad bitter/biting for a blond, maybe. An enjoyable change up, at least.
