Poured into tulip.
Cloudy amber with thick white head, good retention.
Smell - sour, creamy, cereals, bready, lemony, spicy.
Taste - kasha-like, slightly sour, slightly estery and spicy, herbal hops.
Medium body, high carbonation.
Rather interesting multigrain beer.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 9/18/2010. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, honey, biscuit, light clove, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, hops, and pale malt sweetness; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, honey, biscuit, light clove, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Slight earthy yeast spiciness/hop bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, honey, biscuit, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good complexity and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, hops, and pale malt sweetness; with a good malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, fairly crisp, and slightly slick/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice and pleasant Belgian pale ale. All around good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast and pale malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. It’s not as bold on yeast flavors as other Belgian pale ales, but still a nicely enjoyable offering.

750ml bottle. Timmermans wide Flute glass. Nice burnish brass color, cloudy appearance. White froth, lively crown at first turns in a thick, & lasting layer. Foamy spots are left. Slight sour, citric zest, herbal, sugary, fresh bread & wet yeast to the nose. Malty & slight tartar flavors. Light to medium body. Moderate to soft carbonation. Oily, dried, velvet & dense mouthfeel. Spiced, biscuit, bread crust flavors & coriander notes in the middle. Long bitter & astringent finish. Fruity & citric aftertaste. Well balanced refreshing beer!!

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Nov 2012, so it's well out of date. Acquired ages ago from a webshop and stored in my garage. I can only hope that it hasn't deteriorated too much. The ingredient list mentions 4 grains (barley, wheat, oats and spelt) in addition to spices.

Poured into a Delirium chalice. Bottle conditioned. A rich golden hue with some floating sediment and good carbonation. Yields a large head of white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a surface layer. Aroma of fruity yeast esters with hints of apricot, raisins, mild peach, clove, pepper, bubblegum, spice, faint banana, sugar and earthiness. Slightly sweet.

Tastes of light malt with a fruity yeast character and a dry finish. Notes of apricot, raisins, clove, spice, subtle phenolics, bubblegum, faint banana, mild husk/grain, sugar and earthy yeast. Highly attenuated, with a warming hint of booze in the background. Lingering yeast esters upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with lively carbonation and good body. Slightly astringent, followed by an aftertaste of sweet, fruity yeast esters and mild earthiness.

Pretty damn tasty, with the yeast providing a quintessential 'Belgian' character. It looks lovely, while the aroma and flavour are dominated by fruity yeast esters and mild spice. Good body. Despite the age on this bottle, or perhaps because of it, this beer possesses a rounded character with a subtle complexity. Goes down very nicely. Well worth trying if you have the chance.

750ml bottle served in a Belgian snifter.

A: Hazy light apricot color body topped by a well proportioned bone-colored head. The head has rather poor retention and leaves little lacing.

Aroma: Somewhat weak aroma, even without a head. Fruity wheat beer wtih hints of citrus, apples and apricots.

T: A bit more spicy than the aroma suggested. Light, biscuity malt base with fruity tones including banana, lemon, and white grape. These are in good balance with the delicate spiciness. A good bit of yeasty/nutty flavor comes out in the slightly sour finish and aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body; lively and crisp carbonation; lightly astringent.

O: Refreshing and very drinkable, if rather pedestrian. Should work well with many foods.
