Easy Eddy showcases big tropical aromatics of pineapple and mango. Flaked wheat and oats make for a brilliant golden haze in this Unfiltered IPA. Hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe.

Pours orange with a heavy haze to the translucency. Head is two fingers of white foam and retains well. Aroma is tropical fruits in a blender. Citrus, tangerine, and fruity yeast dominate with a glimpse of doughy malts and light resin hops at the finish. Flavor profile is similar, leading out with citrus, tangerine, and tropical fruits blend. Fruity yeast is exposed just underneath. Doughy, bready malts at the end, a little more forward than the nose. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a creamy start that turns to a silty finish. Overall, drinks like a pretty prototypical flagship NE IPA type. Not to say it's bad, but nothing that really captivates the experience, other than being a solid deal on shelves.

Served in a stemless wine glass from a 12oz can.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a Shaker pint glass, date on bottom of can is "07/06/2023".

APPEARANCE: pours a cloudy, hazy golden color with one-finger white head that slowly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of small bubbles remained, medium carbonation, heavy lacing on the glass.

SMELL: sweet pineapple citrus, there is a dank, earthy note and somewhat soapy.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet pineapple citrus then a dank earthy note and a soapy taste on the finish.

PALATE: medium body and carbonation.

OVERALL: this is a solid beer, I enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone who enjoys the style.

16oz can. Bottom lip of can is stamped '07/09/2022'.
Hazy, straw colored body. Two fingers of pure white head. Leaves behind a partial wall of lacing.
Aroma is pineapple and mango, along with hop dankness.
Taste follows and features pineapple and mango. A little dank but not bitter. All fade off in the aftertaste.
Very soft, medium mouth feel. Some hop burn on the tongue. Very good carbonation.
Probably a little long in the tooth, but still expresses relatively juicy fruit.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy (80% clarity) light golden color with a moderate white head. SRM of 6. (3.75)

Aroma: Strong aromas of grapefruit citrus, pineapple, citrus rind, with a light lemon herbal note. (3.75)

Flavor: Strong flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, some sweet pineapple. Resinous and lightly herbal finish. Slightly flowery. (4.00)

Feel: Medium-bodied. Leans slightly sweet. (3.75)

Compared to Surly Battle Vest 8/22/22: Pours a lighter color. More dank herbs and pine. Less sweet tangerine. Heavier and sweeter finish.

Compared to Remedy Strata Copter 8/22/22: Pours a similar appearance. More dank herbs and pine. Less sweet peach and tangerine. Similar sweetness.

Overall: A pretty decent hazy IPA here. Nice citrus and pineapple notes. A little too herbal for my preference would be my only criticism. Otherwise the flavor is there. (Rating: 3.85+)

Purchased a 6 pack at Shell station in Muscatine, IA. Drank straight from the can. Smooth, easy drinking. Slight citrus taste coupled with subtle hops. While nothing too distinguishing not bad. Good.
