I’ve been coming here for years, can’t believe I’ve not reviewed it before today. Used to be the Mishawaka Brewing Company, a place I never visited despite living about 5 minutes away when it opened.

Evil Czech has a nice space, both inside and out - the patio is great in the summer. The service is usually pretty good, and they have a decent beer selection, if a little IPA-heavy.

The food is where Evil Czech shines - it is elevated “pub grub,” and it all well-executed. Definitely worthy of a visit for beer nerds and foodies.

Food is really excellent -- high quality ingredients, great execution, and the great service gets it to you fresh off the grill. Gets very busy (45min wait) on the weekends, and no reservations. Only complaint is that the beer menu in house is pretty limited to their standards (which are excellent), but would like to see more of the unusual releases on premises.

Cool road housey Czech themed brewpub. d-shaped bar to left of entry seats about 15 with at least a dozen tables about the rest of the room. 16 well-assorted beers on tap, the dunkel was excellent. Taco Tursday (my sloppy luck) was a great deal, and easily the best tacos I've ever had at a Crezh joint, and at a great price. Friendly, efficient bartender. Great lunch stop.

This was our last stop on our 26-day pub crawl, and was an after-thought to stop here only because we were too tired to do a pub crawl in Indy after stopping there last night. But we couldn't end our trip without one more stop, so BA research nominated this brewery to be our closing act. And we're glad it was nominated because this place just entered our top-5 list of favorite breweries.

The pub is in a building along a busy street, and parking is to the rear. The interior vibe was very good, as was the service during a busy lunch hour. We ordered two 5-glass sampler flights so that we could try most of their beers (12 were available). Wow! The selection of styles and the quality of the beer was so good that we ended up giving all but one of the beers a 4.0 grade (out of 5). The GG Patton Czech Pilsner was our favorite (I don't know if I've ever said that about a Pilsner), but all of the beers were so good that it was difficult to choose a favorite. Kudos to the brewer.

The food here is also very well done. They offer a Tapas-style buffet for the people who want a quick lunch, and a printer menu is also available. The food items that we had were excellent. Kudos to the kitchen too.

The pub also serves cocktails that are made from Journeyman's spirits, a distillery that is located nearby. The interior vibe of this place is great. A few TVs are placed around the pub, and the painted-signs finish on the brick wall behind the bar do wonders for the ambiance. I came away feeling that this is a 'brewery with an attitude' and I'll definitely go back here again.
