Visited the brand new, larger and damn comfortable, casual, and nice location in the historic and cool part of town...large and airy with a nice out door front area...friendly staff, offering all sorts of samples and local info...the two beers I tried were tasty n fruited up IPAs...they pour about a dozen of their own beers and a handful of other local craft guest taps - no food available, but feel free to bring some or order in....very worthy spot in Fort Pierce, Florida

My favorite place to go for fresh beer. Small tap room with great variety to choose from. Wednesday night for bottle share. Live music. Holiday weekends are a must. Kid friendly too.
Cheers

They are expanding to a location in Vero Beach it sounds like, which will hopefully expand them to having a few more beers on tap. They plan on keeping the original location, so the downtown Fort Pierce location should be good to go for some time. Great little spot for hanging out and having a beer or two. Very chill location, with good service.

Ft Pierce's only brewery, opened in April 2013. My brother, mother and I headed down over the holiday break to give it a try.

Location is right downtown, historic Ft Pierce, on 2nd street, with a walking entrance right on 2nd and large parking area on the right just past the two yellow buildings that house the brewery and brew pub (for parking, turn right down Backus Ave when traveling east on 2nd).

There is a large outside patio (tiki torches were lit during our visit), a corn hole area and what looked like a fire pit. Plenty of room outside makes up for the smallish indoor bar. Of course being in Florida, outdoor is the place to be.

Inside to the left there are 4 small tables which can accommodate 2-4 people and a bar which seats 10-12. The brewery is to the right and is set up to produce 1.5 barrels as configured. The building next door is their new brew house which when completed will double production.

There were three Sailfish brews on tap: Kris Kringle (Sailfish's take on a holiday brew which was my mother's favorite), Roggen IPA (a nice rye IPA) and an English Mild. Three guest taps included CCB Jose Marti, Jacksonville's Intuition Peoples Pale and Teqeusta brewing's Der Chancellor Kolsch.

The brews were very good, with everyone's favorites being the Kris Kringle and the English Mild.

There is no food service, but Al, the GM and brewer bought pizza and invited us to have a slice. Sailfish does have various weekly events including free pizza Saturdays and discount growler Thursdays.

The brews were $4.69 per pint. No flights available but the bartender (Caitlin) was nice enough to split some pints so we could all try the brew. They only have 32oz growlers available at $13 per fill, minus $2 on Thursdays.

The service was excellent and did not waiver as the bar filled during our visit. Al was nice enough to give us a tour of both buildings and discuss the variety of brews and future plans.

Sailfish Brewing Company is a nice addition to the Ft Pierce area, and I can see us heading back to hang out on the patio to take advantage of the Florida weather and the Sailfish brew.
