From the can dated 5/7/15. Sampled on August 15, 2015.

The pour is an attractive looking mahogany brown and am little murky or cloudy. Short-lived light brown head.

The aroma is full of toffee, caramel, and brown sugar. Little in the way of hops. But sweet nonetheless.

Medium body.

Sweetness abounds in the taste to the point of overkill. Toffee, caramel, and brown sugar again. Bitterness is mild. The brewery calls it an ESB but it has more of the characteristics of a Brown Ale. I liked it well enough.

Bottle shared by Kelly and Paul, thanks for the opportunity! Hazy deep copper color with a small bubbly off white head. Rich toffee and caramel nose and flavor with faint earthy hop that are barely enough to counter the malt sweetness. Might be an old can hard to tell, but this was only ok.

A - Nice and appealing, mid to dark amber in color, cloudy with a high carbonation but a small head.

S - nutty with hints of chocolate in the back end

T - a strong grainy flavor backed by a copper taste, that hangs just long enough to notice, but quickly leaves.

M - surprisingly thin but smooth. Which I feel makes it a drinkable beer.

This beer has some strong attributes yet not overpowering to a point to where it would be undrinkable, I feel this helps make it somewhat unique for being the company's flagship beer. The carbonation in my opinion was too high but I think its what removed some of the hang and helped make it an enjoyable beer.
