Color Field is an American wild farmhouse ale brewed with hibiscus, rose hips, and chamomile. Produced with a mixed culture fermentation, it pours a hazy pink color topped with a fluffy white head. Tart aromas of lemon, black pepper, and earthy, gently perfumed botanicals mingle with classic saison funk. The soft, refreshing acidity is balanced by a hint of floral sweetness. This beer is never boiled and never filtered.

Beautiful color, some sort of purplish magenta. Smell is very Brett, which overpowers everything else. The flavor is brett forward, but the notes of the delicate adjuncts come through and make this rewarding. Overall it's what you might expect from a wild ale though it's definitely brett focused. Very tart with plentiful lactate. I would like a little more of the chamomile, or some of the sweeter aspects of the hibiscus and rose hips but the two latter adjuncts express themselves in a tart capacity. Overall worth a try in the late Spring, or Summer, or whenever.

Accidentally cellared a year. Shades of orangey pink body with pinkish head. Floral with sweet hibiscus, cardamom, and a hint of raspberry nose. Hibiscus is huge in the taste, floral adjuncts and cardamom follow. Feel is like mediterranean hibiscus water but more sour than sweet, thinner, and higher carb. While I found it refreshing, I don't need to have again

Tangy tangy tangy. Bright and lively flavors. Dont really get chamomile but surely hibiscus and rose hips. Tastes a bit like fizzy herbal tea drinks that I like to make. Lovely

Pours an iridescent dark pink color, ample foamy head. Aroma is grassy with some funk. Flavor is slightly funky, tart, clean and crisp, earthy, light. Light bodied. Overall a fun beer.

On tap at Mikkeller bar in Copenhagen.

Pours a vibrant red with soft, pink foam.

Smell is tart and floral with notes of hibiscus, lime and pineapple.

Taste tart and fruity, with plenty of floral elements, hibiscus being the main one. Backing notes of lime and a slight sweetness. Very refreshing.

Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a nice, refreshing sour.
