Rolled the can before pouring. Poured a very hazy golden yellow with a fingers worth of head. Smells great! Various fruits, candied and stone and some spices mixed with bread. Very juicy to start of with tones of citrus and stone fruits before its balanced with malt and bitterness. I am really enjoying the combination of juiciness with a heavy amount of bitterness. Could be my favorite Grimm IPA/Beer yet.

This is pretty good, but falls way short on the price point. Can was like 6 bucks. Are you kidding me? Pours a hazy NE ipa, some nice dry hop aroma, but not knock your socks off good. Nice full hop flavor on the back with strong bitterness for NE style IPA. Side by side in a NE ipa line up, this falls way short of Trillium/OH et al. Especially given the reviews, i thought this would be julius

From a growler, pours a beautiful, bright golden orange with a finger or so of white foam. Webby lacing. Bit of haze but more clear than hazy.

Smell is total fruit salad--tropical, citrus, melon, on and on. Also a bit of pine and spicy herbs. Touch of bready malt. Taste is the same, and it's fantastic. Nice little bit of bitterness on the finish.

Feel is a light medium, smooth and super drinkable. Overall, a completely killer IPA. I'd rank it with some of the best I've had.

Super fresh tall can...Canned on 11/17/16 on the bottom

Pours super clouded/floured...dull tangerine, frothy off white fluff, leaving all kinds a quality looking lace, film, collar etc....classic NE IPA kinda look

Bright and pungent tropical fruit infused nose, with pineapple juice coming to mind

Yum, fruity/tropical/hoppy, delicious...hits all the notes so many are looking for in one of these new fangled clouded, tropical fruit bomb kinda NE style IPAs. Pineapple, mango, grapefruit, ripe bananas...go get some and enjoy as fresh as possible

On tap. I am a sucker for mosaic and this comes off as having a very soft but present mosaic backing. Maybe now a fan of Rakau too! This beer wins at the feel level. What is becoming a more typical and welcome easy drinking yet dank/tropical east coast IPA. It is getting harder and harder for them to be distinctive but who cares? Another great addition to the world and props to Grimm. Can't wait to drink this again.

Canned 11/17/16. Consumed 11/26/16.

A: Pours a radiant light gold color with about a finger of creamy white head comprised of tiny bubbles. Medium-plus haze, just enough to give the gorgeous 'glowing' illusion as the beer sits in the glass.

S: Sweet pear, passionfruit, and orange stand out most prominently. Subtler notes of apricot and maybe even some honeycrisp apple? Aroma is extremely fruity, but more like freshly picked, fleshy ripe fruit vs. intensely sweet, sugar-covered candied fruit I get on many Grimm IPAs. There's a touch of weedy dankness on the finish, but just a smidgen, really. Nose doesn't jump out of the glass until this one warms up; it's actually quite muted when cold, so I'd definitely recommend letting this sit out of the fridge for 30 mins or so before opening.

T: Up front, I get big notes of passionfruit and pink grapefruit. Initial flavor is followed by the appearance of stone fruit (apricot, peach), some sweeter citrus juice (tangerine), and a bit of the orchard fruit (pear, apple) that was more present on the nose. There's a light breadiness underlying, and some herbaceous 'green' quality that underlies the second half of the taste. The finish is a blend of the fruit notes that appeared throughout--with pithy grapefruit, passionfruit and apricot lingering most presently--the bready malt character, and that herbal earthiness.

M: Super super creamy feel; very archetypically Grimm. Beer is nicely carbonated (medium), but way more gentle and soft on the mouth vs. the prickly and effervescent. The oats are really driving the feel on this one, giving it a light yet almost full feel that I typically get--to an extreme--on Tree House beers. While there is definitely some bitterness on this, it isn't nearly as sweet as some other Grimm IPAs (for the better, IMO). It's somewhat dry on the finish too, just enough to ready the palate for another sip.

O: Absolutely phenomenal beer with supreme balance of drinkability and satisfiability. The aroma and flavor profiles are intensely fruity, but I don't get the sense that this beer will tire too many palates due to cloying 'juiciness' or overwhelming bitterness. It's light yet creamy mouthfeel is damn near perfect, and the intensity of the flavor reaches levels way beyond expectation (given the ABV) as it warms. This is one of my favorite IPAs and the second only to Afterimage in Grimm's lineup of hoppy pales, IMO.
