Tall can, canned 12/2/16...one can limit currently at Brew & Co. in Bedford, NY

Pours moderatly hazed, dull tangerine, lasting light khaki cap, thick colar and frothy lace left behind all over the glass.

The expected tropical fruit nose in all its yummyness.

Another tropical fruit bomb...loaded with ripe pinepple and orange juicy goodness.

Fine Fine stuff...pick some up if you see it in your local

On-tap at Bronx Beer Hall, Bronx, NY

A: The beer is very cloudy whitish yellow in color and almost looks like a smoothie. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that consistently left a short head on the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of grapefruit hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of grapefruit along with a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, juicy, and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is all about the juiciness of the hops. It is quite drinkable because it does a good job at masking any traces of alcohol from the taste.

Serving type: on-tap

The beer comes in a deep gold color, glowing orange and hazy.

The aroma hits of juicy apricot, mango, floral, a bready sweetness, orange candy.

The flavor follows with that candied orange, tropical Gummy Worm, peach rings, mango, a bit of chewy bready sweetness to accentuate those fruity hop notes, onto a woodsy and dank assertive medium plus bitterness on the finish. DIPA candy in a can again.

Canned 12/02/16, it pours cloudy/completely hazy gold orange color with plenty of microscopic sediment floating around in the brew which had a 1-2 finger bright white foamy head that was full of tiny bubbles and faded slowly, leaving really nice foamy lacing clinging to the sides with rings as it went down. Standard handsome looking DIPA from Grimm.

Smells of tangerine, pineapple, mango, light grapefruit, orange peel, tropical fruit, fresh wet floral hop cones, graham cracker, mild brown sugar and fruity candy like gummy bears. Simple yet very complex as the fresh citrus and hoppy notes make it lovely to inhale.

Tastes like fruit juice with some fresh piney hops and zesty citrus fruit added. The tropical fruits are full of citrus like lemon, orange, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, starfruit, guava, apricot, white grapes and even some green pear. There are dry floral hop aspects and peppery spices in the mix but the best part to me was the perfect balance from the toasted grains, buttery malt, graham cracker and bread crust. Late toffee or caramel round out a great tasting beer.

Mouthfeel is creamy and very smooth with the minor bitterness for a DIPA adding nice contrast to all the juicy hop notes. Carbonation is very mellow, with a medium to lightly chewy body that slides down easier than it should. I found myself having to slow down because this was so drink-able.

Overall it's another great DIPA from Grimm. The delicious flavors hide the ABV and make it session worthy. At this point I will buy any IPA or DIPA that Grimm produces, they have proven time and time again that they are world class brewers.

1/2/2017: Had my last can from the batch canned 12/02/16, and it held up with the malts coming on a little stronger but the juicy citrus fruit still keeping the sweetness in check. A month later and this brew was still great.

Finally! A Grimm in boston that isn’t a sour. Love Grimm, and this didnt dissapoint. Hazy and orange appearance and came with a hoppy fruit blast on the first taste. So good, and at 8% all I need is 3 or 4 more and maybe I can enjoy the misery of Christmas. Good stuff....and let’s cancel Christmas next year everyone

Velvety smooth on the tongue. Grassy and bitter. Doesn't drink like a double. Could easily session this beast. Crisp and clean
