Notes:
Dessert Berliner Weisse. The pop! series keeps getting better — Power Pop! is brewed with citra lupulin, azacca hops, vanilla, and milk sugar. Like nothing we’ve tasted before; juicy hops, sweet/tart balance on the palate, cream soda finish.

Bottle dated August 2017
Pours hazy yellow gold with a dense creamy white foam head. Smells like lychee, grape, kiwi, lemony citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, stone fruit, peach, nectarine, pineapple, some creamy lactose, vanilla, hint of pale malt, with floral earthy herbal resinous grassy pine. Tastes tart and sour, hoppy with lemony citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, white grape, kiwi, lychee, pineapple, peach, nectarine, tropical stone fruits, wheaty malt, hay, spice, some creamy lactose, vanilla, and floral earthy herbal resinous grassy pine. Feels medium plus bodied, creamy smooth with moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice hoppy sour ale with vanilla and milk sugar.

I’ve really enjoyed the fruited pop beers I’ve had from Grimm and was curious to see how vanilla was going to play into this mix. This requires a very gentle pour and had a billowing foamy head. Love the bright fruit and tartness on the nose. Flavors blend well with the intermittent hints of sweetness. If you want to compare is to a soda, it almost shares flavors of an extremely dry ginger ale. Boney.

A- pale, glowing putridity. Cloudy straw juice. Lace on top with a POP!
S- pungent juicy mango, sweet citrus oara
T- sour, tart, grapefruit intrepid. Hay fever velocity. Clementine on my sunshine. Sour sticky lips.
M- induces successful swallowing. Bubbles. Pop. Period.
O- one and done. Ok at the time but won’t pay a dime... Thank you for your time.

by jlindros from Massachusetts
super murky peach light fizzy head
Nose loads citrus tropical like, fresh stone fruit peach, mango, tangerine, creamy, lactose,
Taste brings more of the same, some creamy milk lactose, creamy wheat, little tart tons of mango apricot puree, guava, little acidic lemony tartness
Mouth is lighter bod, little thin carb, touch tart
Overall nice up front, great fruit and tart, Berliner is a little lost, and not sure if I dig the lactose, also no carbonation to add that pop.
