Pours cloudy yellow gold color with a 2 finger thick head that faded slowly and left minimal traces of lacing. Smells like grapefruit, orange peel, tangerine, pineapple juice, citrus fruit, biscuit, peppery spices, floral notes, tea leaf and a faint pine aroma. Pretty nice smelling nose that was well balanced, but hop-centric.

Flavor is more tart and herbal, like dry hops or dry hop leaves with dropped into a very dank NEIPA that resembled grapefruit juice. There’s an average bitterness that’s more citrus juice than IPA, with tastes such as lime, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine and peach coming on strong before the toasted grains and bready sweetness add balance to the brew. The aftertaste is dry with floral and herbal components.

5 oz pour on tap. Pours a hazy glowing yellow with an off-white head. Aroma and flavor feature tropical fruit and citrus with perhaps a hint of wheatiness. However, there is a fairly strong vegetal/onion flavor that detracts from the overall flavor profile.

Hazy bright golden yellow with two fingers white head.
Citrus, primarily grapefruit with pineapple and some dank undertones on the nose.
Taste follows the nose.
Medium bodied, well balanced with as slightly dry finish.
My first fro Grimm and it was quite enjoyable.

Gold and cloudy in the glass--actually one of the haziest pours I've seen. A New England style IPA. Very smooth resinous taste that's actually on the mellow side. Excellent!

L - 2-finger sparse white head atop a milky orange body.

S - strong herb, grapefruit, a bit of cheese.

T - very dank grapefruit with a cheesy kick. Clean middle. Moderate-low bitterness. Low sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium body and carb.

O - if dank herbal cheese was a thing, this would be the perfect accompanying beer. I wish I tasted the juicy pineapple that others are tasting, but I don’t get anything close to that.

On tap. Yum! Mudwater NEIPA. Puréed fruit in nose and flavor. Chewy, chunky. Low IBU but each sip has a zesty hop flavor that forces a reaction. Grimm still does it well!

L - opaque, decent head fades to nothing

S - fruity, citrus forward, hint of that mosaic funk

T - more fruit, less sweet than it smells, solid bitterness

F - medium body and carbonation

O - hoppier than most single IPAs, fairly dry for the New England style, overall great balance

Poured from a 16oz can into a speiglau IPA glass.

Look is an opaque hazy yellow with little to no head.

Aroma is straight pineapple orange juice.

Taste is like a pulpy pithy orange juice.

So good.

16oz. can into Night Shift stemware.

A NE IPA through and through. This looks like pulpy pineapple juice. Nose is pineapple, starfruit and citrus. Real bright, fresh and lively but not the most aromatic. Beer opens soft. Hints of melon, pineapple, mango and citrus. A subtle hop bite towards the middle that lingers in the background. More pineapple and starfruit at the end. Almost a fruity tartness emerges right before the bone dry finish. Real enjoyable. There's nothing spectacular going on here but the balance is perfect. It's a real nice drinker. Body is light with moderate to low carbonation. Smooth and soft on the palate and goes down bone dry with a sticky, lingering finish. Feel is very very good.

A real solid beer from Grimm. Again, there's nothing over-the-top happening here. Just a real solid brew.
