Topos is an unfiltered traditional pilsner with flavors of fresh hay, powerful spicy German noble hops, and delicate floral honey. As with all of our pilsners, we utilized a traditional rising-temperature step mash with 100% German pilsner malt; Hallertau, Tettnang hops. Crisp, refreshing, and refined.

From a 3-week-old can, pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold. Big fluffy white head sticks around a long time. Grass, lemon and floral notes on the nose. Very flavorful, with light bready malt in the finish along with medium-light bitterness. Good beer.

Nice pour. Golden color with a 4F head. Aroma is moderate with some hops. Tangy, spicy with a good bitterness in the finish. The spicy hop character comes out with warming.

4-21-21 dated tall can.
Medium haze to the pour, with more then ample fine froth and splattered lacing left on the glass.
Crackers on the sniff.
Crisp and flavorful brew, more bready and cracker notes. Well crafted and well worth a try.

Awesome brew, def should check this out. It might not blow your hair back but it's down right solid in it's own right.

Slightly hazy medium yellow, with two fingers of long-lasting, fine-textured, white head.
Smell is cracker, fresh straw, and lightly spicy herbal+floral hop aroma, and a hint of
dried lemon rind.
Taste is light biscuit, a honeydew melon+cucumber fruity flavor, spicy/herbal(sage+holy basil+a touch of tarragon)/floral (Russian Sage?) hoppiness, and moderate citrus-rind-bitterness.
Feel is light, but not watery, with very, very fine carbonation that leaves the tongue with a pleasantly sand-blasted feel.
Overall , very enjoyable, and easy-drinking. Leans more to the spicy/herbal side than most pilsners, but it works well. I could drink this one endlessly.

On tap at Albany Ale and Oyster in Albany, NY.
This one pours a light and mostly clear straw yellow, with a small head and lots of lacing.
This one smells like spicy and herbal hops, with some flowers, and water crackers.
This is great - it’s really nice to see Grimm making a great lager. It’s got a crisp and clean hop character - a little spicy, a little floral, and a little fruity. There’s a touch of crisp crackery malt, and a very clean finish. There’s no off flavors.
This is light bodied, and so drinkable, with a very clean feel.
I’m all about Grimm’s new direction and quality lately.
