Zero Coast, our deliciously bitter and hoppy west coast DIPA is guaranteed to remove any and all hostile body thetans! The outrageously high lupulin dose broke our e-meter; we don’t even know how many IBU’s this thing has. When your palate achieves operating thetan level two you will notice that this “Sonoma-style double IPA” is inspired by Pliny The Elder. 7lbs/bbl of Centennial, Simcoe, Columbus, and Amarillo deliver old-school bitter hoppy notes of citrus, pine, and Froot Loops™️. Hoppy intensity explodes from the glass, and the result is ultra clean and drinkable.

" Sonoma Style Double India Pale Ale "
I spent a week in Sonoma County - Sonoma Mt., Russian River, Bear Republic... so... yes please!
Pretty, yellow-amber with a tightey whitey head of dense, sticky foam - layers of lace left behind as it slumped.
Some haze from protein and chill - not the sludgy murk of oat and wheat starches.
Great cold breakfast nose - honey on porridge with a side of OJ. Caramelized grain notes along with hints of grapefruit.
Hops carry the flavor with a sharp citric acid bite that dominated but doesn't overpower the malt backbone underneath.
Less Centennial hop character than I'd like for a Sonoma style IPA but thats just me.
Medium ++ body with alcohol warmth well woven into the matrix - noticable but not intimidating 8%.
Firm, bitter finish with some sour notes - just a bit too much boil hops - but again , thats just me.
Your results may vary.

Pours a moderate one to two finger head, slightly off-white, even-surfaced with above average retention nice length and breadth to the lacing. The liquid is fairly clear, shiny and bronzed, only a few bubbles visible. Solid dose of cracker and bread crusts to the nose, peppery and piney, dried honey, mandarin oranges, cocoa, more tobacco leaf than moist dankness, the fruit mostly papaya, mango, peach but in no way bombastic. Medium-bodied, quickly develops a dry and tacky mouth feel. The cocoa and breadiness more overt here whereas the fruitiness recedes some. Pine, tar, tea leaf with moments of peppercorns. Carbonation arguably a bit too foamy but may have to be so to balance out the dryness. Toffee and honey try to soften the finish as the tangerine, pink grapefruit accelerates. Leaves a nice tingle behind. A welcome break from the general relentless onslaught of NEIPAs. (Canned 7/26/21)

7/26/21 can from the brewery in Brooklyn. Pours an almost clear medium dark honey gold with a finger of rocky white heat that dissipates, nice lacing, smell is sticky dank overripe mango, papaya, peach, hop hard candy, resin flecked cotton candy, pine, and candied orange peel, taste is zesty grapefruit flesh, grapefruit hard candy, dank grapefruit pith on the finish, hints of caramel and pine, feel is medium bodied, creamy carbonation, mild carbonic bite, semi-dry finish. A well executed west-coast dank grapefruit banger with a tropical fruit bouquet. Yum.

From a can dated 7/26/21. Very west-coast DIPA. From the Grimm website: “ ZERO COAST, our deliciously bitter and hoppy west coast DIPA is guaranteed to remove any and all hostile body thetans!
