This is a 16 oz can. From the bottom of the can: "CANNED ON 03/ 08/ 2023 12:08:43"
Appearance: The body is a pale yellow color which is nearly opaque. Fuzzy and dark shadows are visible through the lemon gummy-like bodily appearance. the head is dense and white with a somewhat creamy texture. It has ripples across the surface and it looks very nice. It has excellent head retention and fine sheets of lacing on the glass.
Aroma: It has a light bit of white pepper and cabbage on the nose. The pepper aroma becomes stronger as the beer rests.
Taste: Up front there is mango and some papaya. Near the middle there is a very strong tea and hemp flavor with notes of hop bine oil. Some sweet hay grass to the rear of the palate and the sweetness lingers on.
Mouthfeel: It is light bodied and very easy to drink. There is an herbal sweetness to the beer that is pervasive which is pleasant but it might not be to everyone's taste.
Overall: The beer had a nice sweet flavor which was a bit like sweet grass, hay, hemp, and straw. There were some notes of mango and papaya up front but they are quickly replaced by this grassy sweetness. It is almost honey-like. I think it would be relevant to point out that this beer doesn't taste grassy or vegital but rather it possesses some of the sweeter characteristics that are found in grass without the negative and unpleasant ones. This beer is pleasant and a bit different but it might not be for everyone. Those who don't enjoy black tea for instance might not enjoy this beer.
I would buy it again because it was a very well made beer and it was very enjoyable. I would also recommend at least trying a single can or pour of this. At first I was a bit worried because there wasn't a lot of aroma, and the aroma that was present was not the best, but the sweet grassy flavors of the beer were so good that it quickly won me over.

3d review. Like it. Chalky, pineapple creamsicle.
a) Pours a gold haze with white croppy, lacey head.
s) ample w/ pineapple first up on the nose.
t) Flavors add mango, a bit of sour flowers almost wilted, as well some pine bite.
f) Chalky resiny bitterness, great mouth feel.
o) Original and well made.

Picked-up a single can at Craft Beer Cellar in Plymouth for about five dollars. Canned on date of September thirteenth. My second brew reviewed from these guys. Good.

Pours a golden hazy that is typical of Grimm fashion. A little pineapple on the nose. Some mango as well. It's not as sweet and tropical as one would expect based of the nose. A touch of mango on the front end that gives way to bitey resiny bitterness. Not as bicoastal as I'd like as I wish it had a little more tropical fruit, but it's nice to have an IPA that isn't just juicy. This is well made.
