Our goal with this "Northeast Clear DIPA" was to make a super juicy double with our expressive house yeast, but have it drop out clear. We wanted to create a different flavor profile by removing some elements we typically include in our IPAs in order to showcase hops on a clean and neutral canvas. No wheat, no oats, step-mashed like a lager, and featuring a more typical NE water chemistry than we usually opt for. Huge whirlpool and dry-hop additions of Citra, Strata, and Simcoe contribute big, delicious notes of mango, strawberry, red plum, and passionfruit. And well... it's still kinda hazy innit?

A “clear” New England - No haze, dank and tropical nose. Sweet strawberry and plum is balanced by a bitter finish. Big flavor, crisp carbonation.

From a 6-week-old can, pours a very slightly hazy orange-gold. White head of foam leaves intricate, delicate lacing. Smell and taste feature tropical fruits, berry and some piney dank. Not super hazy, but still very much in the Grimm flavor profile. Wonderful beer.

Had on tap at Churchkey.
Gorgeous clear rich reds and tan leather color. Full plumy head.
Rich aroma and tasty mix of tropical and stone fruits with strains of dank.
Luxurious velvety body; gentle dipper than well hid the 8.5 abv.
Overall a clear NEIPA “ experiment” that rocked!
Great brew.

Not your typical Grimm beer. Very smooth, very little happiness, light clearer color, some fruit, lighter hop profile.

Berry and citrus all around. Really impressed by this one from Grimm. The waves of citrus and mixed Berries keep this one I want to keep sipping, and at 8.5% it's dangerously drinkable. One if my favorites I've had by them, even the "clear neipa" category.
