Hands-down the best Belgian IPA I've ever tasted. Grab a glass of this guy, a pretzel, and sit out on the patio overlooking the river. Beer experiences in New Hampshire do not get any better than this.

From the 64 oz. vacuum capped growler. Sampled on July 23, 2015. I have to say that I really liked the vacuumed sealed growler cap. It took some doing to unscrew it. Almost as sealed as a bottle cap.

The pour was a very milky yellow color with a modest head. Impossible to see through.

Astonishing and inviting aroma of Belgian toasted malts, Belgian yeast, pineapple, orange, nectarine, tangerine, grass, and other citrus notes.

The body was far heavier than I am used to in the style but also very yeasty and chewy.

The taste has an underlying Belgian toasted malt flavor to start but then those lovely citrus, orange, pineapple, and grassy characters take off to bring this to a pleasant and dry finish. I have never had anything quite like it. I'm giving it a high grade but it would have been higher if it wasn't so murky to look at.

Pours a completely hazy deep orange color with a large off-white head. Leaves some splotchy lacing around the glass.

The aroma is a yeast bomb, which I never thought I'd say in my life. It's spicy, doughy and bright from the tropical notes. I also get some orange and the faint presence of grass.

The flavor is nicely tropical. Has some notes of pineapple and melon. Lots of yeast and pepper spice. Finishes like a bite of grass from a farm.

The feel is medium bodied with good carbonation. Super dry finish.

Overall, a very good Belgian IPA. I love the tropical and citrus notes being countered by the Belgian yeast and spiciness one typically finds in beer like this. Well worth a try.

Cloudy orange-amber color. The small head settles to rim bubbles. Little lace.

Dry smell with floral hop notes.

Nice balance of dry-ish malt and white pepper hop. Smooth with the traditional Belgian yeast bite. This has more American pale ale elements than Belgian. The finish is straight up hop bitterness. Decent lingering aftertaste.

Sample from the Granite State Brewers Festival 7/25/15
Rich light bready malt with light phenols and plenty of citrus and pine hoppiness to counter.

Enjoyed at the Dive bar.

A - Poured into a standard tulip a super hazy orange hue with a fat two finger head that fades to leave sticky lacing and a nice blanket.

S - Aromas of Belgian esters, yeast, tropical notes, faint citrus, light malts. Clearly Belgian ipa.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, nice prominent Belgian yeast and esters, light tropical notes, super faint pineapple, light citrus notes, more pith than anything. Lightly bitter almost wants to be juicy but never gets there. The brett is super subtle, bringing just a light funk to the table.

M - Mouthfeel is brightly carbonated the bitterness is masked well.

O - Overall this beer was really neat. The Belgian notes and brett funk made for an interesting beer that had a decent citrus and bitterness as well. Fun beer.
