A really nice marzen, better than some exports from Germany itself.
The beer presents itself really nicely, that red/brown clear colored body, nice head to start off. Simple aroma of toasted grain. As for the flavor, once again very grainy, cereal like, much akin to toasted granola. Sweet, yet finishes rather crisp with a light hop finish. What I enjoyed most about the beer is the malt profile, which is like something you'd expect out of the best from a German brewery, also the balance between sweetness and crispness. Finishes very clean, refreshing, and light.
