An ugly beer, thanks to the yeast dump near the end. The soiled river water could be mildly forgiven if it had some visible carbonation to distract me. That said, it generally has the proper color to it. Though nose might suffer in strength without any head, it seems to hit on the banana and spice notes. The taste is similar, focusing on the banana notes and spice with a wisp of alcohol. There's a bit of an earthen aspect, which might have some yeast influence.

Might work out a little better if decanted better, but I'm not willing to take that chance.

Poured from a 500 ml bottle with no date, into the test glass.
A - Cloudy straw color, lots of yeast in the bottle, steady carbonation feeds a thin white cap. Lacing is ring after ring.
S - Banana, clove, hint of orange, a bit of spicey esters but muted.
T - Yeast forward, again with the notes of banana, and clove. There is a doughy palate that dominates the entire experience
M - Creamy, with soft water profile. Carbonation helps usher things along. linger is semi sweet and fruity
O - A fine effort but I will not be revisisting

Bottle. Thick layer of sediment at the bottom. Not letting that whole thing drop into the beer. The beer ends up being quite murky and dark orange. Very thin head. Would kill a gluten intolerant human. I enjoy the bottle and the art is a bit too flashy but overall the look from beer to the packaging, it is rock solid. Creamy, almost dairy aroma with caramel. Bread, sweet, dessert bread. Banana bread! That caramel is rich. Flavor is rich, creamy, stupidly caramelly and full. Drinks and taste like a bigger beer. Tastes like a big ol' Sugar Daddy on a stick. Not as nuanced as I was expecting. Tends to only play 80's Joel. The feel is like liquid velvet. Soft carbonation. Nothing I'd buy again.

Excited for this one. Actually in a bottle, can't find a date
Pours a small off white fizzy head with med low retention, a bit of lacing, hazy burnt orange color

Nose smells like a wheat beer directly from Germany, big doughy creamy wheat, tons of dough, some vanilla and honey as well, then big esters with bubblegum, citrus, banana, fruity notes, a bit of phenol notes, clove like

Taste brings loads more of the wheat, super doughy again with that creamy wheat, vanilla, honey, a bit of honey cake, a bit of caramelization, again big fruity esters, citrus, bubblegum, some banana even, a bit of bitterness, light spicy hops, drier creamy doughy finish with med spicy hop bitterness, lingering banana bread

Mouth is med bod, med higher slight effervescent carb

Overall quite nice, like a double true German hefe, unique that it has both bubblegum and banana esters, my only knock is the spicy hop bitterness getting a bit too high on the finish, but otherwise a great beer

Small pour at the brewery. Tastes darker than it looks.
