This our “bench-mark” beer. A medium bodied ale with aromas of soft citrus and earthy pine combined with very subtle notes of tropical fruit. This highly hopped American style IPA leaves your pallet with a lingering dry and bitter finish.

12 oz can, 2-22-16 sticker on the plastic six pack holder (hopefully that is the canning date and not the best before date)
Pours typica Amber nice looking like khaki cap, leaving low sheeting and some ringed lacing.
Citric sniff with grapefruit rind wafting about
Respectable IPA with ample citrus and resinsy hop notes abounding.
More better then decent craft IPA from a slew of new to me at least Florida brewers...very happy to see the Florida beer scene improvements...things have hanged a lot in the past few years..

Look - golden with a soapy white head
Smell - citrus rind, pine
Taste - orange, grapefruit, citrus rind, pine
Feel - medium body, moderate carbo, dry
Overall - 6.8% ABV - 68 IBU's. Has a nice citrus rind scent and taste with a pine resin bitterness that lingers. I also picked up citrusy flavors of orange and grapefruit. Don't know why I waited so long to try this brew. She's solid and very tasty. Pairs well with Never Been Any Reason by Head East.

First offer from this brewer and it was a good first impression...
Decent looking brew with a very juicy and sweet smell. What also is obvious about this brew is is hop-foreword flavor, a slight punch even to the taste buds. Plenty of carbonation and a strong dry finish. Overall, a solid beer.

Bought a single can from a store in Gainesville. No data on the can, so I'm assuming this beer is old, as the aroma and taste have that typical stale IPA thing going on. Very average. Would like to give this a fair shake and try again fresh on tap somewhere, but I'm from out of town, so this 1 can was best I could do.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is equal parts citrus and pine. Taste is of citrus, a good bit of malts, light pine, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer, but a lacking a little punch.

A: The beer is clear amber yellow in color and has an ever so slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of passionfruit and grapefruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of passionfruit with hints of grapefruit and pine with sweet bits of candi sugar. No bitterness is detectable.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this beer to be unique compared to others in the style as it was neither crisp nor bitter and has a subtle amount of sweetness.

Pours a slightly hazy deep gold color with a silky 2 finger head. Lacing is spotty.
Aroma has vaguely semi-sweet citrus notes with a soapy residual nose.
Taste is a blend of citrus hops and medium bodied malt. Not a bad blend, but more on the malt side than the average northeast IPA these days.
Feel is a little soft with a moderate bitterness.
In general a solid IPA with a robust malt base under a pleasant hop profile. As standard IPAs go this is worth a shot, offering a nice hop profile to top if off.
