Straight pour from a 16.9oz/500ml pry-off bottle to a 10oz stemmed tasting glass (Tired Hands stemware, for you nerds keeping track). There was no bottling date on this bottle, but it was fresh: picked up at Green Bench the previous weekend, and consumed later that week after sitting in the fridge for a few days. (Notes transcribed later.)
Appearance (5.0): Two fingers of ecru-colored foam, tight and frothy, and slow-dying. It caps a 24-ct. golden-colored body with orange lowlights, and leaves a rocky surface as it dissipates. Thick, tightly webbed clumps of lace decorate all sides of the glass as it goes. Just unbelievable lacing.
Smell (4.5): Classic all-brett aromas: dusty basement, musty, old hay . . . a grassy background with musky papaya mixed in, bearing overripe apricot undertones to boot. There’s some orangeade and clementine sweetness in back, but really the musty brett and grassy hop aromas really dominate here.
Taste (3.75): Much, much grassier than in the nose, and with a resinous bitterness to back it up. The funk is also somehow much funkier: more barnyard than musty basement. There’s a stale bread/common cracker-like dry malt flavor. A bit of that papaya musk adds to the barnyard weirdness. The finish walks a line between grassy flavor and yellow grapefruit peel. This really tastes and drinks like a table beer. A bit of orange pulp flavor comes out more as the beer warms—like orange flesh after it’s been juiced. The spent orange, dry common cracker-like malt, and the musky funk all blend together very nicely. A slight passionfruit funk, or guava rind bitterness comes out some more as it warms. Lots of great elements, but they don’t quite come together as elegantly as they could.
Mouthfeel (4.25): A silky body, on the light- side of medium-weight. The carbonation is modest at first, but tingles nicely as it washes out. The malt body leaves a starchy film over the tongue. Tingly, light, and eminently pleasing to drink.
Overall (4.0): This is, in sum, a very tasty, brett funk-driven table beer without the tang or tartness of other brett-dominated mixed fermentation brews. It’s heavier on the musty, musky aspect, offset by strongly green, grassy flavors. This beer possesses all of great pieces of what could be a perfect table-oriented, companion beer—but the pieces just don’t quite fall in all of the right places. Nothing mind-blowing, but a very nice-drinking , brett table (-like) beer.

Pours a cloudy darker yellow golden color with fizzy white head, very fizzy, brett working nicely. Citrus, cedar, grass, cracker, and some light tartness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes with citrus and cedar. Reminds me of Jester King El Cedro, very similar flavor profile.

Reviewed from long-standing notes. Had on tap at Stein & Vine. Served in a tulip glass.
A: Hazy dark yellow, with low visible carbonation and just over a finger of white fluffy head.
S: Musty and barnyard, vegetal and flowery hops. Brett and pineapple, cracker malt and somewhat yeasty.
T: Barnyard up front, with Brettanomyces earthiness. Light bready malts, and herbal and tropical fruit hops with moderate bitterness quality. Yeasty again, faint black pepper notes. Banana and pineapple fruitiness towards the end. Finishes with lingering bitterness and a nice depth of funk.
M: Fairly light-bodied, with a well-carbonated crackly mouthfeel (despite the appearance). Alcohol presence is quite well-hidden.
O: I thought this was quite tasty. It strikes me more as a hoppy saison with the yeast presence, but that seems to be semantics. Good, though not great.

Here comes more Florida collaborations. I love them, keep them coming. 2oz pour cloudy yellow with great retention. Has a slight sour smell from the Brett. I was expecting the typical CCB pale ale taste but it’s not there. Very good balanced beer. Easy to drink. eye catching label 4.00
