I enjoy this and think it's solid but idk how often I'd actually come back for it specifically, definitely not juicy like the name suggests to me it seems to be hoppy and bitter. Overall a good beer

Yet another beer from Sour Fest 2019 held at Hops & Pie in Denver, CO. This was not a sour beer, but I liked how they had some hoppy stuff around to break up the monotony of drinking awesome sour beers all day.

Pours a light amber color with 1/2" head like it should on draft. Good clarity to it, when I hear juicy banger, I think new money hazebois, so nice to see that despite the word/name association, this actually is a beer that looks good instead of looking like trub shit. Largely tropical fruit aroma, but don't sleep on the stone fruit apricot note that makes up about a quarter of the aroma somehow out of Mosaic hops.

Taste imparts juicy mango, guava, apricot, I dig the firm, rooted in old school Centennial bitterness here, a nice bouyancy to all the juiciness, solid job. What is there to talk about malt wise, its light and pale as it should be.

I hope to run into this in a to go format, will grab a 4 or 6 pack of it if I see it, solid stuff.

Poured into a tulip glass a big foamy head filled the glass forming a nice 2 finger head upon settling. This gave way to a thin off white blanket with lots of high water lace on the glass. Color is slightly hazy orange color with no visible bits.

Nose says citrus, pine, papaya, mango and the kind of salt water scent you can get from tropical fruit skin. Notes are really pleasant with lots going on including some sourdough bread.

Nice soft fruit hits the palate with a lot of drying hops. Nice controlled bitterness and no sweet malt poking through. I also taste a bit of that salty fruit skin on the tongue as well. Nicely complex beer.

The medium body is balanced by medium carbonation and a fruity yet hoppy feel that makes a slick mouthfeel and a somewhat bitter finish.

This beer is growing on me. I have had it 3 times before from same 6er with previous impressions of " a little too bitter". But now I am beginning to appreciate the complex bitter and fruit interplay they have crafted in this beer. I like it.

32oz crowler from the brewery. Pours bright golden with a thick, fluffy, sticky, head. Fruity, pine, and resin in the nose. Firm, medium-bodied, soft, creamy, and a bit viscous. Juicy with tons of tropical fruitiness (pineapple, mango, papaya) as some stone fruit. Hoppy and faintly herbal, but not overly bitter. A bit malty with some toasty and honey notes, but not overly sweet. Finish is a bit sticky, resiny, and biscuity.

Juicy Banger was one of my favorite local IPAs when I lived in Denver. Many years later, it still holds its own in a world flooded by IPAs. This should be at the top of your list if you're a fan of juicy IPAs that aren't hazy.

Clear, golden hued body; dense, lively carbonation; thick, sculpted and sticky white head. Faint pine sap aroma; some esters floating about. Gentle light malt base flavor with a crisp, snappy hop bitterness; subtle fruit flavor lingers in the background; peppery and spicy. Medium body; sharp and crisp on the palate; relatively smooth and slick; dry overall.

Since this beer is nearly four months old (canned date of 11/04/19 on the bottom of the can), I definitely need to acquire a fresher version. Plus, I put off trying this because I assumed it was a hazy IPA (which just isn't my thing). That being said, the beer is still a fine example of a high-hop west coast IPA, bracing and flavorful.

On-tap at Freshcraft, Denver, CO

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a very slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing on the surface.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose - orange seems to stand out in particular - along with hints of pine.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of orange citrus with hints of pine. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA was rather juicy with all of the flavors from the hops.

Serving type: on-tap

12oz can. 6/25/18 canned date. Appearance: Light golden, mostly clear with a touch of haze, and a medium slightly off white head. Decent lacing.
Aroma: Mango and pineapple fruitiness are fairly strong. Touch of strawberry. All fruit on the nose.
Taste: Light crackery malt sweetness, a bit of oxidation, a resinous light mango, and a sharp, aggressive bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with a moderately high carbonation
Finish: All bitterness on the finish. Almost astringent, with a dry, resinous hop flavor left on the tongue
Overall: Decent IPA. A really pleasant tropical fruit aroma that touches on mango, strawberry, and pineapple. Flavor doesn’t quite live up to that promise with a sharp, aggressive bitterness and a bit of oxidation. Some flaws here that if improved could make a pretty solid IPA

look: 4 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

Appearance: Arrives clear with a light amber hue; a one finger head leaves a few strands behind

Smell: Citrusy aromatics of grapefruit and orange, with a hint of caramel

Taste: A touch of caramel on the tip of the tongue provides a counterpoint to the orange and grapefruit flavors that build; moderately bitter through the middle and into the finish; a hint of residual sweetness lingers

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A solid citizen in today's world of IPAs

12 oz can, canned 6/11/18. Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a big bubbly white head that retains well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is perfumey malt with floral piney hops.

The flavor is cracker malts with big resiny piney tarry hops and some fruit. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a nice IPA, but not quite as good as remembered.

Had it at the Larimer Beer Hall outside Coors field in Denver on the recommendation of the bartender. Solid recommendation on this new brewer for me.

Awesome dry, full flavor dry hopped flavor with liquid, withering aftertaste. So far, this is the best new brew I have had on this vacation.

I was a little disappointed in this beer, since it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I expected a hazy New England-style IPA, but what I got was something closer to a less-hopped double IPA. Wasn't terribly fruity or hoppy or bitter, despite the high IBUs; it was just kind of there. This one is supposed to be their biggest seller, but I definitely like some of their other ones more. UPDATE: I tried it again a couple years after this review, and it was better than I remember, so I'm bumping it up a little bit. Maybe they tweaked the recipe?

So, oddly this isn’t terrible but equally not great. I wanted to like this more, especially with the name, but the noise was decent but the taste that lingers on the tongue wasn’t what I wanted. It’s decent but after this 6-pk I probably won’t buy it again. Cheers.

This is a clean, west coast IPA, full of rich dank hops. Smooth but properly carbonated, balanced, but interesting. A fairly big IPA at over 7% but it remains dangerously drinkable all the way through. Appearance and aroma are perhaps on the lower side but the taste and mouth feel make up for it. Reminds me of (old) Cumbre elevated IPA recipe.

Look is fairly clear honey color and poured with a finger of off white head.

Aroma is dank, citrus and pine.

Taste is citrus (mainly grapefruit), pine and maybe even some melon. An ever so slightly dry and bitter finish.

Feel is smooth and slightly dry. Carb is moderate.

Overall a very nice ipa. Solid and well executed.

This is coming from some notes from a prior tasting at that brewery...

This is in my top 3 IPA's in the state and probably top 10 I have had.

This is a classic west-coast style but with an emphasis on the citrus and fruity hops - classic centennial hops mingle with Citra and Mosaic. I love when west coast style (clear, light colored, crisp and dry) mingles with the fruity juicy hops popular in the NE style IPA's. This is such a great IPA which should be canned! I like this above and beyond any of the single hop series I have had - let me say it again PLEASE CAN!

On tap. Served in a snifter glass.

Pours a medium orange copper body, clear with a one finger white head, good retention, bits of lacing. Smells of citrus, grapefruit, oranges, caramel, light grain. Certainly smells juicy. However, does not quite follow on the palate; there is a bit of a green hop flavour to it that doesn't translate from the nose. Citrus, grapefruit skin, grainy sweetness rounds things out. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, good carbonation with a green finish to it. Solid IPA, smells good but didn't translate to the palate. Still a more than solid local IPA.

On tap at the brewery and served in a nonic pint glass.

Look- A very slightly hazy dark gold with a couple centimeters of white foam. It settles leaving thick lacing behind.

Smell- Spicy floral hops, grapefruit, pine and yeast esters.

Taste- Passionfruit, grapefruit, floral and a hint of pine. A dose of sweet malt backbone to round it out.

Feel- Creamy slick and resiny with a slightly bitter dry finish.

Overall- Another winning IPA from the Station. A juicy and floral hop profile with a complementary dose of malt makes it quite the tasty easy drinker. Check it out if you're in the neighborhood!

On draft at Hops and Pie in Denver. Glad to see an ipa utilizing several different hops from this brewery. So far I've only had their single hop ipa's which have been great.

L: light gold, nice clarity and head retention

S: tropical, slightly herbal hops. light booze/malt combo suggesting of sourdough bread

T: lots of tropical tasting fruit from the hops, and light fruity esters. clean and light. not much sweetness or malt. Range of pineapple, apricot, papaya, etc.

F: light/medium body, oily

O: Very nice and hope they can this one! Would love to buy in cans. Very juicy indeed!

64oz growler from S26; poured into a pub glass.
Apperance - pale gold, lots of bubbles; thin to medium, white head. Lacing is lightly scattered on the glass.
Smell - juicy citrus and tropical fruits explode from the glass!
Taste - sweet and bitter citrus and tropical fruit flavors, followed by an orange tanginess!
Feel - a medium/light body; bitter, tangy and sweet up front and on the finish. Lacks a bit in drinkability, not sure I'll be able to finish off a growler during one day.
Overall - a bit disappointed overall, as I had very high expectations. The nose is absolutely brilliant, but there's enough acidity that I'm picking up to turn me off a bit. Still an excellent IPA.

Juicy is a great name for this beer, it is packed with tropical fruit notes. Just a touch of pine. Great balance between the hops and the malt, seems pretty close to 50/50 to my taste buds. Medium mouthfeel with a more wet finish than dry. I was caught off guard by how much I liked this beer because I had never heard of it and had no expectations, great stuff! Going to have to visit Station 26 after liking this IPA so much.

On a recent trip to Denver I had many of the local classics (Great Divide Titan, Odell IPA, etc.) and this one stands up to all of them. Fresh and hoppy, yet very drinkable. Another hit for the Front Range breweries.

Served on draft.

Appearance: light amber golden with some haze. The head is a light tan which doesn't last long, and fades to a thin veil.

Aroma: Station 26 certainly spared no expense on the aroma hops. Wonderful aroma! Tropical fruit and pine. Yep, this is an IPA.

Flavor: great hop flavor. The malt flavor comes through as toasted bread, then come the hops. "Juicy," as in the title, is a great description. Juicy tropical fruit is right.

Mouthfeel: spot on. Light-medium. I could drink several before I'd be full.

Overall: well done. Great aroma. This IPA would make the rotation if bottled/canned and were readily available.
