Poured from a can with no discernible date stamp...

Deep copper color; fine, slow-rising carbonation bubbles; thick, creamy head. Toasted grain and bread crust aroma. Nutty and toasted grain flavors; mild hop bitterness. Medium body; warm to the palate; finishes with a gentle sweetness.

This is an outstanding malt-forward ale It reminds me of some mild ales I've had recently. It delivers great aroma and flavors in an easy drinking manner. Good stuff!!!

Not a typical hoppy red ale, which is a nice departure. And coming from Station 26 with their excellent hoppy beers, this is a nice change of pace. Malty and a bit roasty. Finishes just a touch heavy yet clean. Went well with duck confit

This is definitely what it claims to be - it's an amber with a really nice color and pretty generic taste. Very similar to most breweries' ambers, nothing too fancy, just a solid beer. I'd say it's close to Fat Tire and those of that ilk. Probably a good way to introduce someone to craft beers.

a good beer, but pretty darn generic. on tap at kaos pizza on pearl street, i wanted a little more from this after that single hopped ipa they canned was so impressive. this is equally well made, but just a little boring in terms of the recipe. built like a session amber, its nice and dry for the style. and has a nice hop profile as it finishes up, bitter and floral, late summery, it works this time of year. its a little thin though, and lacks any real depth on the grain side, short of watery but approaching it, and not all that interesting before the quick finish. a fine compliment to some roasted chili, bacon, and goat cheese pizza, but i suspect it might need interesting food to keep it interesting enough in its own right. i understand not everything can be a head turner, and that all breweries need a few beers like this, but i know these guys are capable of a whole lot more, so as fine as this was, i still left a little disappointed with it.
