650 mL bottle. Black body. Smells mostly of coffee, but it has a smokiness behind it. Not meaty, just a dry smokiness. Tastes of chocolate and coffee. Has just enough sweetness at the start, because it gets smokey and bitter in the back end. Medium body. I appreciate that it isn't super heavy or sweet. The name makes the beer sound disgusting, but it's good.

Thanks, Chad!

Was grateful for pulling in this, along with 16 others, from Chad and Bill on a recent work trip to Reno, Nev. Had only had Cellarmaker’s IPAs and hazy IPAs, so was looking forward to trying something heavier. Had heard great things about this one. Description called it, “A lightly smoked coffee porter made with a touch of German beechwood smoked malt as well as high quality 2 lbs. of Sightglass coffee per barrel.”

Poured a pitch black color with khaki tan fizzy head. No noticeable bubbles. Poor watery lacing. Very bad retention. (Sight - 2.75)

Smelled black coffee, dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, light ashtray, smoky wood and dark cacao nibs. Even more smokier from the can and actually not as good from the can for nose. (Smell - 4.25)

Dang. Even better for the taste. Got cold-brewed black coffee, dark roasted malt, smoky char wood, ashtray, dark chocolate and dark cacao nibs. (Taste - 4.50)

Full body. Sticky-to-slick texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.50)

Just an awesome porter. World-class. (Overall - 4.50)

Not sure how to explain this, here I go!
Beautiful black liquid in the glass, small copper head.
Fukn great aroma out the glass, fresh roasted coffee!!
Damn this really goes down great, starts w/coffee, chocolate, finishes with the slightest but bot minimal smoked grain?? Not overbearing but ypu'll notice and really enjoy it.
Great mouthfeel, minimally carbed but works great for style.
This is truly a treat, Cellarmaker lets everyone know their more than a hop factory!!

Smoked, coffee delicious. The name is perfect for the beer. However, don't think of cigarettes smoke, but a smooth smoked, malt beer. Outrageous. Coffee wasn't too bitter and balanced the smokey after taste. Try it, you will like it!

C&C looks great with jet black color and a nice 1/2 inch tan foamy head. Very inviting. Smells smokey, coffee and a little burnt. Really great flavor because the smokiness, malt presence and coffee are perfectly balanced. You don't get tired of drinking it. Pretty smooth mouthfeel and overall one of the best adjunct porters I've had in a while.

L - frothy, hazelnut head atop a black body.

S - lots of coffee, chocolate.

T - coffee-forward, with milk chocolate, a little smoke, a little nuttiness. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium body and carb.

O - delivers on what it advertises. I was hoping for something a little more extreme in the coffee and smoke department, but as-is its a crowd pleaser.
