"Tiny Dankster" is a Pale Ale version of the "Original Dankster" Double IPA we had on tap during SF Beer Week. The hop profile is heavy on Nelson Sauvin hops with a good amount of Mosaic and Citra as well. Intense notes of pineapple, apricot, ripe papaya and lemon dank. 5.7% ABV, 37 IBU.

Pours a light yellow with mildly opaque highlights and a little apricot in the center. An inconsistently beaded head rises up and fades fast down to a steady lace.

Aroma is of pandan, gooseberry, cat piss (strong NZ sauvignon blanc vibes here), meyer lemon. Crisp and pungent.

Taste brings in red currants, verjus, crab apple, lemongrass. Again, crisp, clean, and finishes dry.

Mouthfeel is soft and full; the carbonation supports what would otherwise be a thinner bodied beer. Very well balanced.

Overall, this is a really well done beer that delivers great aroma and flavor in a lower-alcohol package. Some nice hop burps, even. I'll be picking this up again. Recommended.

Hold me close...

How have I not rated this before?
Pours a gentle white gold, hazy as they come. Light aroma, with some guava and papaya hanging back, and a creamy smooth finish. It’s delicious.

On tap at Out of the Barrel

A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces very nicely.

S: Grassy, green, slightly dank herbal notes, a touch of southern hem diesel, spicy pine, citrus zest, tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, a bit floral, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Lively tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, gooseberry, passion fruit, guava, mango, apricot, peach, and white grape, citrus, lemon lime, white grapefruit, and tangerine, a little pine, herbal grassy notes, faint dank Southern Hem diesel, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: So much flavor packed into a pale ale. Really nicely balanced. Awesome beer.

Here's another beer that came from the government imposed economic bloodletting time. Always nice to get Cellarmaker beer without going into the shitty.

Pours a lightly hazy yellow. Oh and the can art? Amazing. The aroma is just as phenomenal as the can art. Nelson bangs the keys like Sir Elton. Mosaic and Citra putting on the fine tropical and citrus touches. Jeez this is just great smelling. All the dank guava garlic orange weed. Doesn't sound appetizing, but it is.

Taste jams the similar hop bouquet notes all the way home. I think Citra jumps in more here than it did competing with those super heavyweights of aroma. The hazy pale ale vibes aren't turned watery or trubby like lesser ones, and this doesn't even seem like it gets away from barley usage. Might be zero wheat and/or oats to this one. While it wasn't west coast dry, it wasn't hazy in the current sense either.

In some ways, I hate how much I love this beer, but glad it came this way once.

Can from Chris. Thanks, mang.

A hazy light orange with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is soft ,fruity and floral with lots of mango, peach and papaya, a mild water cracker note. Mild lemon as well. The palate opens light with a light cracker note before a ton of hop flavor takes over. Peach, mango, apricot, papaya, a little grape, some lemon and pine. Just awesome flavor. Drying, light, mildly bitter on the finish with just a hint of grassy flavor. Lots of fruit on the finish. Light in body, a touch watery, but otherwise, an incredible amount of flavor. Yum.

Subdued nelson hop, tropical hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows with a light and subtle citrus bitter bite...nice feel for a pale ale! Easy drinker! (4.06)

12/12/2022 Batch! (Rating reflects this batch) Sweet tropical hoppy, orange citrus, white wine grape, and Mosaic-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a delicious and soft, subdued hoppy bitter finish. This is nice and flavorful...and feels great for a pale ale! Good stuff!

Had this on draft @ Cellarmaker on 8/6/19.

Opaque orange/yellow appearance.

Minimal white head; nice lace.

Orange peel & mild wheat notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Orange peel & mild wheat flavors up front; faint cream notes on the finish.

Nice, but not very memorable.

The can was just 6 days old from RemingtonSteele1987. Pours a cloudy, pear juice yellow with a one finger, off-white head and moderator lacing retention. Smell explodes with juicy, tropical fruits; pineapple, papaya, as well as apricot, with a hint of dankness. Taste follows the nose, as the beer comes off very juicy with a dankness brought froward from the Mosaic hops.
