German Pilsner malt, mostly German Tettnang hops as well as a little Styrian Celia, Motueka and a sprinkle of Cascade. It's spicy and fruity with a bit of herbal character as well as a crisp pilsner malt flavor and that lager yeast character we love in a good pils. Conditioned for 5 weeks.

Pale, golden beer with mild haze and a fizzy white head. The aroma is fresh, crackery malt with bright, grassy hops. Rich but light flavors. The taste is clean and very refreshing. It’s fairly dry with a lingering bitterness that grows in the aftertaste. It’s probably a bit hoppier than most style guidelines would prefer, but I like it and it’s really not as hoppy as I expected. Very clean, nice malt sweetness. Mouthfeel is light with effervescent carbonation, mild prickliness. Crisp. Good stuff. Cellarmaker does a good job with restraint when they want to.

On tap at Highland Park Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a hazy golden-yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, grass, and hay aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, grass, and slight fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer that is tasty and super easy to drink.

I have to say, I don't really go for pils. Usually too bitter and too dry for my tastes. This one isn't. Has a creamier body than most pils, and sweeter than most. Maybe my favorite of the style?

This pours a light golden color. I get a grassy, grainy aroma. Flavor is cereal-dominant, with a distinctive hop kiss on the end.
I guess I don’t have much more to add to this review right now. This sure ain’t poetry.

Pilseners don't often stand out to me, this is not different.
