Notes:
300 Steps was made for Craig, Beth, and the amazing team at City Beer Store. 10 years ago they opened their little Mom and Pop craft beer store when the craft beer scene was just beginning to take off in San Francisco and changed the game forever. Similar to the City Beer folks, we enjoy ending our work days with a big, dank, unrelenting Double IPA. This one is loaded with excessive amounts of Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Simcoe hops to thoroughly punch you in the face.

hazy straw appearance, good 1/2 inch head
one of CM's best aroma wise, notes of stonefruit, pineapple, citrus
juicy but nice balanced bitter, love how the citra and nelson play
Really hope this beer comes around often, its a true winner.

22oz bomber purchases at City Beer and bottled 5/16. Pours very hazy bright straw orange with a thin ring of tight white bubbles. Appears well carbonated. Aroma is full of ripe peach, pineapple, grapefruit, white grape. On the palate there is a big pop of Nelson and Citra, grapefruit, white grape skin, Nelson diesel characteristics, peach, and pineapple. Middle of palate and linger brings some piney and resinous notes with a long dank linger. Has the trademark cellarmaker dipa taste that I could pick out of a lineup of hundreds of dipas. Reminds me quite a bit of Highway to the Danker Zone.

Had both bottle (1 day old) and draft at City Beer Store release. I detected a slight difference but pretty much the same, maybe carb was a little different.
Pours orange and pretty opaque. Big aroma of pineapple and stone fruit, juicy! Taste matches aroma but also the Nelson kicks in, get some white grapes. One of the better DIPAs from Cellarmaker, and that's saying something because I love their IPAs and doubles. Top notch brew for a top notch collaboration (CBS and CM)

This beer has is a cloudy marigold color with visible carbonation and very little head.
This has a nearly perfect aroma. Stonefruit, oranges, mango, papaya, sauvignon blanc. Smells like one of the best double ipas I’ve laid my nose on.
The taste follows the nose but is even better than it lets on to be. Has many of the same flavors and a bittersweet finish that lingers for days after each sip. Very well may be one of the best iipas I’ve ever tasted.
There's a good amount of carbonation to hold up to the aggressive hop flavors.
I am supremely impressed by this offering. It seems like their double IPAs are tasting even better out of the bottle than I could have imagined. Keep up the great work!
