Collaboration with Collaboration with Other Half Brewing Co. and Trillium Brewing Company
West Coast IPA vs Northeast Style IPA? Clear vs the Haze? Tupac vs Biggie… Some fools got beef! Cellarmaker, Other Half and Trillium are all about making great beer and having a good time; no hate here! Fermented with an expressive yeast and hopped with Citra, Centennial, Nelson, Galaxy and Enigma. This blend is sure to turn any hop head into a super fiend. So if you got a glass put it up!

Well file this bad boy under ugly ass beer that tasted pretty good. Scores all over the place I suspect.
Anyhoo, there was that cross country juicing that seems like it is part of this beer. Collaboration time. Pours a murky mango colored juice like V8 was up in here. Doesn't hold much of a head. Its just not pretty. The nose is much improved, there that Nelson that is like a Summit hop hybrid, as it has the onion and garlic angle alongside that diesel fume. A little bit of Citra orange behind that.
The taste is the best part. Centennial works very good alongside Nelson, haven't seen that too many times if ever, but there is a hearty bitterness that works well alongside the Citra and Nelson moorings. Galaxy dropping in to give some pineapple juice alongside the orange juice sensation, I really think Centennial did good at keeping this from being too juicy/sweet if that makes any sense. Hid the alcohol amazingly. Still would probably prefer a clear west coast version of the same though.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Quick hit of resinous green slightly grassy notes, spicy pine, ripe tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, juicy citrus, dank herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Ripe tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, pineapple, gooseberry, white grape, passion fruit, nectarine, mango, apricot, and a hint of melon, solid hit of citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, lime, and lemon, some dank herbal notes, green resinous grassy notes of pure hoppy goodness, a little spicy pine, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderately prickly carbonation yet still quite soft on palate. Borderline chewy, a touch of hop burn comes out as it warms.
O: I've been hoping to get a chance to try this one for a while now, so my eyes lit up when they re-brewed it in honor of Other Half's 10th Anniversary.
I feel like I can actually taste the influence of each brewery involved. There's an intensity to it that screams Trillium, the body and malt backbone are definitely Other Half, and the overall flavor is right in Cellarmaker's wheelhouse.
Really fun one to try. This is one of those rare collabs where you can tell they didn't just brainstorm ingredients (nothing against those whatsoever) but actually combined each brewery's distinct styles and techniques. Grew on me more and more as my glass emptied. Definitely something special.

Sweet tropical hoppy, a hint of white wine grape, slightly earthy, and a candied orange-tangerine citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a light to medium-bodied, cotton candy tropical hoppy and an orange earthy-citrus bitter finish. I think this wonderful hop profile would have been better served with a fuller/murkier/creamier mouthfeel...just a touch lighter in the mouthfeel department than I prefer. Also, you know I always want more Nelson hop dominance/influence! Ha! Outside of that, the only thing I am wondering is why Cellarmaker can't stay in this lane all the time?! Good stuff!

Juice bomb of a beer, but theres some balance to it. Booze is well hidden. Grapefruit and melon with a creamy mouthfeel. Love the chalky appearance. Please for the love of God make this a year round offering, Cellarmaker.

Kinda weak for an other half dipa...got their freek weak beers... flavor is on point. Mouthfeel is waterry. Lacks viscosity. Wouldn't purchase again. They have more current offerings that are better than this. I just want to advise consumers to skip on these old collabs and get their newer stuff. It's just that much better. Def. Missing the creamy mouthfeel here.
